FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I cater to and customize my first visit with a new customer depending on the kind of work they are expecting form me. For pet sitting clients: I prefer a free meet and greet session before I proceed with the fist visit, that of course is optional. I have client and pet paperwork as well as a contract and emergency Veterinarian authorization form for my pet sitting clients that I prefer to be done at the meet and greet session. As for house keeping clients: I prefer to go over the details of the job ahead of time, in person or over the phone. In short I would like the client to provide a run though of the work that is to be preformed during the house keeping session. I would like to know what cleaning supplies and products the client would like me to use in the home.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I currently work as a Utility worker cleaning a commercial building. I have 10 plus years working in the pet industry including 6 years as a Vet Technician. I am self trained in pet grooming. My specialty is cat nail trims and applying soft paws for cats (and/or dogs) - see photo in gallery.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
One project I am fond of is that of Toby and Maddie. (featured in photo gallery) Toby and Maddie had been going to a professional grooming salon most of their lives. I was able to provide in home grooming for both of them. This lowered the stress and anxiety from other pets at the salon and allowed them to relax in the comfort of the home. I was able to groom them while holding them in my arms or lap and no need for them to stand on a grooming table for long periods of time. This project took about 2 hours. One hour for each dog.
