Hired Sky Moving to move our things from our old apartment to our new house. They were totally professional and took good care of our things. Our apartment was a big pain to get to and from the moving truck and these guys remained totally positive. The only thing I wish was that I was informed up front about was that credit cards cost an extra 4% and that they do not accept checks. Other than that great experience and would recommend.

My American Movers was not the first Moving Company that I hired. The first one was a company full of clowns and robbers. They don't have any thing good, all things that I can remember in them was their unkindness and rudeness over us while the moving is on progress. Thank God somebody recommended My American Movers. In fact, Gerson Sarmiento was their on the moving to check that the moving was going well and his men won't screw things. I never had hired this kind of company before. You can see their dedication and passion on the work. The professionalism was their, the even got humor when we are moving my things. The BEST MOVING COMPANY IN MY AREA!
I was very surprised on the quick response I received from Conrad's hauling and delivery service. With a last-minute move, he was able to arrange a team to move my things with the short notice and was also flexible with how I wanted to go about the move. The day prior to moving, Conrad made an appointment to view the propertyi was moving out of at no additional cost for a quick pre-inspection. At that time he also provided me additional boxes and packing supplies which I didn't think I needed at the time (and yes, I needed it). Considering I was not prepared for the moving company to move all of my things the day of, they were able to pack additional boxes for me. I appreciated their professionalism and quality of work, wrapping any large items that were not boxed to prevent any damage during the move. With a difficult situation at the new property, Conrad was able to come back at a later time to help me finish the moving process. This was greatly appreciated as I was not able to move some of my belongings by myself. I highly recommend this company and have kept Conrad's business cards handy for friends and/or any future moves.
What didn't we like is better question! This was our first time using Roadrunner and we were most impressed with their professionalism. We had a complex move that required a bunch of different moving parts and they were able to accommodate everything. They were efficient, fast, great problem solvers and very friendly the entire time. We will be using them ever move going forward. Lastly I would like to mention that we trusted them which is a big deal when you let strangers in your home :)
I would highly recommend this company to anyone! I was left high and dry on a Friday afternoon at the end of the month by another moving company. I spoke to Felix that same day and he was able to set me up for the next morning! From the initial call and follow up to the actual movers-Marvin and Caesar-everything was handled efficiently and professionally. I also had to move approximately 100 miles away and everything was handled seamlessly. This company saved me and insured I was into my new home and ready to start my new job on time. Call them! You will be glad you did.
Terrific service! Max Moving was timely and professional. The communication via text and phone was clear and responsive. They were careful with my furniture. They also agreed to wear protective booties to keep our new wood floors clean, as we do not wear shoes inside the house. Two words, stone usu. Or as the crew of Alex, Brian and Shane referred to it, "The Stone". I had a stone usu that probably weight a few hundred pounds that needed moving, all with all of our other stuff that also included a king size Tempurpedic. Add on to that the fact that the moving truck wasn't able to get up our new driveway so everything had be carried up and, for a lot of these items, up a couple of flights of stairs. Needless to say it wasn't an easy to move. But throughout it all Alex, Brian, and Shane were courteous and professional. From putting in the time and effort to make sure that our items weren't damaged to accommodating us as we revised our moving instructions multiple times, we were consistently impressed by their positive and professional demeanor. In fact we commented that after spending a long, tough day with such likable guys we felt like hanging out and having a drink with them.
These guys were awesome! Not only did they show up early they stayed till everything was done. They were professional and kind. I'm hoping not to be moving any time soon but if I do I'll use them for sure!

I was nervous to book a moving company at the beginning. I did my research I choose Cal State because they had great reviews on yelp as well. I called them to book my reservation Yoheli the sales lady was amazing she explain to me every single details. On the day of the move the guys showed up on time, they were professionals took care of my furniture. I am very happy with my move. Thank you Cal State Moving.
As a first time mover, I was in sorts of panics. After a friend suggested me, I called up Alpha & omega moving & storageto help me move. They were very friendly on the phone and it seemed quite reassuring. Their crew arrived on time the next day. They seemed very strong and muscular. They packed all my belongings neatly and taped the boxes properly. My furniture was put in van very carefully. The made the delivery on time and I received all my belongings in perfect condition. Im glad I hired them.
I don’t know where to start! Ok let’s begin with the workers! It was really a pleasure to deal with the crews of Cross Country Movers. Their approach was very friendly to make the total situation simple and stress free. They came at least fifteen minutes early and the guys were very organized and skilled. They knew what to wrap and where to place everything. They protected my every single delicate item. There was no absolute surprises at the end of moving. They brought some wardrobe boxes and bags for mattress and they charged absolutely nothing for those items! I don’t know what other companies would do, they might have charged! I know there are a few bumps in every move. Fortunately they were simply flawless! I would certainly recommend these guys.
Big Ben’ knows how to run a moving company! I was reading through their site and it says he started this company to fill the gap that most moving companies have created (i.e. horrible service), and boy did he do a good job filling it! He and his crew really know what they are doing and take their jobs very seriously. There work is excellent and they themselves are very pleasant and straight forward people to talk to and work with. We recently use Rapid Moving Company to move items from apartment to our house. We used Culver City Location but I believe they also have location in Marina Del Rey. Prior to the move we researched local moving companies and the free quote, packing service, affordable moving costs plus rave reviews made Rapid Moving Company the best moving company for us. As you know relocation can be extremely stressful and a moving company with FULL moving service made things so much easier. Our movers David, Raymond and Niko, were very helpful and careful packing, and moving our items. If you're unsure as to whether you need moving help, trust me it makes things so simple, less stressful and I'd do it again in a heartbeat. Thanks Rapid Moving Company for a great service!
I originally hired a different company and when they didn’t show up the day I needed them. I was referred by my friend who used Luxor Moving before and they were amazing. Not only was I accommodated last minute. They gave me a really good deal on my move
They turned out to be a good moving company after all. Nothing was damaged during the move. The guys really helped a lot and everything was so heavy but they took their time moving every piece of furniture. I like how they didnt raise the price at the end of the move and we paid what we were quoted. I would use them again for my next move.
I hired Beefcake Moving for my move in The Valley. Daryl, Albert and Hans worked fast and were very attentive to my needs. Prices are not the cheapest but worth every penny. I will definitely use them again and totally recommend.
I started searching for a moving company since the beginning of January. I needed to find a company that I can trust and affordable to relocate me from Southern California to Salt Lake City. I got about 10 different quotes and talked to at least 8 of them. I ended up choosing Manchester Vanlines. From the first conversation I had with Colin, the representative from Manchester Vanlines, I was pretty much sold. I didn't choose a company whom offered me the lowest cost nor having the highest insurance coverage (which would cost me a fortune). I simply picked them because Colin has taken care of me since the first conversation we had. He was very professional, friendly, and efficient. I am a super planner and super OCD! He has never made me feel unimportant or I was being annoying. I had million and one questions (seriously) and he got back to me quickly each time. He was certainly very patient with me each time we talked or communicated via emails. As the day approaching, I confirmed with my final box count and everything that will be sent through Manchester Vanlines. (Ok, here is some tips for you: 1. You must be VERY organized yourself to begin with. 2. Create as many list as you have to - reminds yourself what need to be done and what else. 3. You can't still be packing when the team show up at your front door) Tony and his team arrived within the time quoted and they were very efficient (well, of course it helped with my prepping because I wanted to be a quick and efficient pick up). Tipping is very important people! They work hard!!! I appreciate anyone whom work hard for me (even though I know I am paying the company to move me to another state). I know that there was a 2 week time frame for delivery... But after many conversations with Colin, they were able to confirm that I would get my items during the first week. So the final day came! The delivery was finally here... OH BOY! First of all, please do your homework and know about the place you are moving into... I haven't seen the apartment that I have chosen until I moved here. The driver, Marcus told me that there would be a $200 long distance carry fee... Of course I was disappointed, but I do also understand why. It was clearly stated on the contract. I ended up talking to Mike and I was glad that he ok'd for me to pay the extra on a CC. Speaking of CC. Please also do your homework. Each company expects different things... And Colin has been very cleared with me with all the details what had to happen and how I needed to pay. In the end, I received all my items in good condition and I spent all day setting up my new home! In conclusion, I could have chosen other companies. But I chose Manchester Vanlines because the amazing service that Colin has given me and I trusted him 100%. Kudos to Colin! I am a manager in retail over 16 years, I certainly understand what customer service stands for and the importance of it.
