I was very pleased with the work Stephen and his team had done for my house. There were some broken roof tiles, and water was leaking in the garage. Stephen explained replacing the tiles would not prevent from water leaking again, because he found there were thick layers of debris from the pine tree. Without cleaning the valleys, the water will not run down the roof. Also, some windows needed to be sealed correctly. Bottom line, I feel he was really looking out for me to make sure the repair was not temporary. His price was very reasonable. He ended up doing a lot more work such as trimming the tree, pressured washing the roof, painting one corner of the wall near the window. Plus, he did not charge me more than he originally quoted. The other quotes I obtained from other contractors for just replacing the broken tiles were not much less. I highly recommend Mr. Fixit. I will hire him again for future repair/maintenance in a heartbeat.

We recently bought an older fixer upper and Jose has helped us with several jobs. He removed popcorn ceiling, texturized, put in new drywall and pot lights, did painting, installed floor tile, and is now tiling my new shower. He has a lot of overall construction experience and brings important knowledge to the job. His work has been quality and looks really nice. His pricing is very competitive and he is responsive and easy to work with. We had a few last minute delays on our end getting materials and he kindly rescheduled several times. We are going to work with him on some outside hardscape and fencing as well. We highly recommend Jose and his team. (I will add some photos soon)

Juan was quick to respond, reliable & he & his team did a fantastic job laying a concrete slab. Their work is of a very high standard including clean up. Their price was much more reasonable than at least 5 other companies I spoke to.

I initially contacted Robert about tiling some ugly concrete stairs leading up to my home and ended up hiring him to do several other larger jobs. Robert and Brian, who has a keen sense of design, have been terrific to work with. They are meticulous, great with details, helpful, pleasant. I will recommending these guys to everyone I know!

It started off as a simple job, pull some vinyl that was separating from the subfloor in a very small bathroom and replace it with ceramic tile. The job was scheduled to take a day and a half (a good portion of that time is waiting for the tile to set) but as soon as James pulled the vinyl back there was a homeowner's worst nightmare, mold from a leaky toilet. James then worked tirelessly for the next four and a half days removing all the damaged subfloor, the cast iron plumbing that had rotted out, the floor joists and tearing the bathroom down to dirt. When he rebuilt it he added more floor joists to support the floor and concrete board over the new subfloor as well as tar paper to seal the whole thing. It's the most stable floor in the house. James worked tirelessly, he was at the jobsite at least 8+ hours a day, plus purchasing materials and dumping the waste at night. When it finally came time to lay the tile and James brought a helper in. The tile looks fantastic and I am happy to know that there is no more mold hidden in the floor. James left the jobsite clean and clear at the end of each day and at the end of the project, some contractors rush that part of the job. The rates were more than reasonable considering the hidden damage and repairs that had to be done. He even put up with my mom watching him and asking a million questions. We are very pleased with the quality of the work.

We hired Jaime to demo our backyard which had a concrete patio and pavers, remove a tree, and install stamped concrete. He did an excellent job! We are very satisfied with his work; it turned out much better than we could have ever imagined! Jaime worked hard and his price was very reasonable. We will definitely consider using him again in the future for our home projects. Thanks again, Jaime!!!

Jordan went above and beyond our expectations. We had the inside of our house painted, new electrical plugs and outlets, new baseboards, and wood tile installed. We had many problems arise in our house with our concrete slab. He went out of his way for us to get it leveled and fixed right. Therefore, my tile floor turned out leveled, perfect, and not bumpy. He is a man of his word which is hard to find these days. I will hire him again. Thank you to Jordan and all his employees. We love our new home!

John did a substantial amount of work which involved creative solutions and design choices. I found his input in the design area invaluable during this home remodel process. He was able to handle any job from block walls, deck restructuring, and concrete to interior kitchen remodel and window replacement. The quality of his work was excellent. I am planning to request his services again for my two bathroom remodels. I highly recommend him.

Edgar is great!. Responded quickly, came and got the job done at a very reasonable price. When the installer came to assess the work done so my floor installation could begin, Edgar came back immediately to meet the installers somewhat unrealistic wants. Edgar did not charge a penny more for the extra time or supplies needed. I am planning on having him come back to install a done once my flooring is done and will use him in the future as needed. Very pleasant experience.

We had our floors dine in January 2012 by Common Sense. The house that had original red oak (blond) wood flooring with considerable staining (most likely cat urine) throughout. So many boards were damaged that replacing them would've been so costly that Eric recommended we have them sanded and stained a darker color. We are very happy with the way they turned out- it looks beautiful and most of the stains are no longer visible- people compliment us on the floors all the time. It was a very good solution to a big problem. My only complaint was it seemed very expensive to us and there was not much wiggle room on the price. They were fast and worked with our tight timeline to get it done before we moved in.

I have over 12 year old travertine floors that were extremely dirty in my house that were cleaned periodically . I was very nervous to get them cleaned professionally as my only other experience 5 years ago was paying a lot of money for not a very clean floor outcome. I am happy to say that DB&R was very thorough and detailed with their cleaning. Their prices were VERY reasonable. The floors are light, bright and beautiful again. They actually look brand new. We had cracks on our floors that were eye sores and now they are unnoticeable. The whole house feels clean now that our floors are cleaned/ restored. We are thrilled with the service and performance from DB&R. Thank you SO MUCH !!!

Michael McGonigle - the general contractor for MTM - exhibits extreme attention to detail. This results in a perfect, super-professional job every single time, no matter what issues the underlying structure may or may not have. For example, in laying the solid Brazilian Cherry wood, my staircase was not square (the two sides were NOT parallel!) and the underlying concrete was not level or even flat! The previous carpet hid those imperfections but with solid wood, but wood doesn't! Michael took the extra time to painstakingly make sure that the new wood precisely fit. And today, I admire the beauty and workmanship every single time I walk on those stairs. Which is quite literally many times, every day. I've seen the work of other contractors. Some are great too, but some definitely seem to think minor imperfections are acceptable. To me, as well as to Michael McGonigle, any imperfection is unacceptable. Whether you are walking on a new floor, or enjoying a newly remodeled kitchen or bath, you don't want to look at flaws every day. With MTM you won't. I've seen Michael's work on a few other sites, as well as every single day in my own house. And it's flawless.

Brian from Finest City Flooring installed hardwood floors in my two homes and several of my families and friends. His workmanship and knowledge of flooring is outstanding. He helped me find and pick the right flooring for my taste and budget and made everything look amazing. He’s courteous, leaves everything clean and organized, and gets the job done right and on time. He did an amazing job staining unfinished bullnose to match my floors when the parts were not available. I would recommend Finest City Flooring to all my friends and family and plan on using them for all flooring projects in the future.

Mr. Heuslein company was hired by Mountain Health Community Services INC to renovate two of Mountain Health primary health care clinics in San Diego, and in Escondido city. I had a pleasure of working with Mr. Heuslein company on the renovation of our two primary health care clinics in 2014. The renovation consist of the following: Demolition, Framing and drywall and concrete footing. Electrical & lighting, plumbing, heating &cooling, Painting, T-Grid ceiling , roofing, handicap parking stripping, MEP, flooring, IT etc... Throughout the course of the renovation. Mr. Heuslein was a consummate professional. He was accurate in his initial assessment of the scale and cost of our projects. He was absolutely clear in his record keeping and construction timelines. He chose and managed the sub-contractors appropriately. The jobs was done with care and precision. He demonstrated that he is an efficient contractor and make sure all change orders are communicated thoroughly and cost effectively. Mr. Heuslein took special care to prevent unforeseen extra cost to the projects and keep us in within budget. While major renovation is inherently stressful, Mr. Heuslein services as a general contract were invaluable, and I am extremely pleased with the final result. I would like to give Mr. Heuslein top marks in the following areas: Quality of work: s consistently top notch. They were conscientious about following project specifications and the work product rarely needed improvement or revision. Quality of Crew: professional, reliable, courteous, and respectful to the clinics staff and respectful of clinic property and business during renovation and goo work habit with strong emphasis on getting the job done right than doing it fast. Project Management and Coordination: Mr. Heuslein company is knowledgeable about all aspects of our projects and was able to plan, coordinate and manage the activities in different work crew effectively. They are familiar with medical building codes and dealing with city hall also facilitated a smooth and hassle free process when it came to building permits and inspection. Mountain Health Community Services is currently planning on building a new 24,000 square feet in campo area and his company is on our hiring list for our new medical health center.a
