- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My music teaching can vary. I like to accommodate the student with what they need so I like to take the first day to feel out what the student knows and the way he approaches music and like to teach from there. Often I like to introduce simple concepts that make sense and have a little fun while we do that.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been playing piano music for the past 10 years. I started taking it seriously about 10 years ago about the time I started taking group piano classes at Los Angeles Harbor College and ended up doing a full time music study learning theory and performance classes and getting a year of private lessons. From there I have studied on my own for the past 8 years or so, learned to read quite well and writing my own songs. I also have learned to play guitar, banjo and didgeridoo. I also spend quite some time singing.
