- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an MA and a MFA - I am currently employed by Cal State U, San Bernardino as a Special Consultant to the Multimedia Center. I teach students, faculty, and staff how to use professional video camera, DSLR camera, wireless microphones, lighting kits and professional editing software to make videos. Suffice to say, staying on top of current trends in technology is part of my daily routine. Also, I founded a Macintosh Software training business in Denver, Colorado five years ago.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I love helping to tell people's stories and am do enjoy working with people. I like seeing them take initiative on their own projects. In fact, I recently had a client phone me from Colorado who thanked me for the help and video lessons I gave him so that he is now a capable Final Cut Pro editor.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I do lots of interviews. I mostly make artist interviews and small business advocacy videos. I also shoot weddings and events.While I was based in Colorado, I was the co-owner of a Macintosh service and training business for over five years.
