- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
After the free trial lesson, weekly lessons are offered at the following prices: 30 min: $28/lesson; 45 min: $41/lesson; 60 min: $52/lesson. Students pay in advance for all lessons booked for the coming month.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
New students are offered a free trial lesson where long-term goals are established or instruments can be fitted as both the student and the instructor become acquainted with one another.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Sakari Vanderveer holds a Bachelor of Music in Composition from the University of Redlands. She has studied violin and viola with Mark Braunstein and Kira Blumberg, and she has studied music composition with Dr. Anthony Suter and Reena Esmail. Sakari actively works in the Greater Los Angeles area as a musician, performing for ensembles such as the Redlands Symphony Orchestra, the Southland Symphony Orchestra, the Redlands Community Orchestra, and Musica Viva. In her 6 years of experience as a teacher, several of her students have auditioned successfully for ensembles such as the SBCMEA County Honor Orchestras and the Redlands Youth Symphony.
