at first we were a bit hesitant to use services with thumbtack as it was our first time doing so. however we’re very happy we did. Edgar and his team did an amazing job painting the entire interior of our new house prior to move in. He kept us up to date with progress reports and was very accommodating when we had to schedule our flooring installers into his schedule. in addition to the walls, he painted our doors, base boards, and ceiling with superb results. Edgar and his team were even able to match the texture of the wall to cover up some previous holes, so the wall looks like it’s never been touched. he’s a master at his craft and is truly able to take on any job you throw at him. Highly recommend and will be reaching back out to him for our future projects.

Edgar and team did a wonderful job painting our house. They came over to give us a quote the same day of our initial reach out, and completed the job the following weekend. Edgar responded promptly to my query via Thumbtack for a quote and came by the house and provide an estimate, after viewing the work. We had several areas/walls that needed painting and drywall repair (patch/paint) due to damage/holes/etc. from prior occupant and some recent renovation. The project also included painting a decorative stairwell from 1st to 2nd Fl. (we only recently moved into the house and the paint on the stairwell was already peeling off in many areas). He provided a reasonable quote and we agreed to the price/scope. When they arrived at the house, Edgar had no problem accommodating a couple of other requests we had "while they were there" ;-) and provided a fair quote for the additional work. The stairwell ended up taking them way longer than anticipated but due to no fault of theirs; it was only discovered after they started working that whoever painted the stairwell previously did not primer first, so they spent several days just scraping and sanding off the old paint in order to repaint the stairwell properly. I was impressed by Edgar's professionalism and his work ethic; it is clear from watching him work and the attention he placed on the stairwell and doing it "right" that he takes pride in the work he does and provides a quality service. I won't hesitate to go with Edgar again for any future painting needs we may have and will happily recommend him to others.
