You could not find a more responsive day-of coordinator than Danielle. She and her assistant did an amazing job of ensuring that I had to think very little about the mechanics of my wedding on the day itself -- that is, running a dinner/dance party for 120 people. In the weeks/months leading up to the event, I worked with Danielle to hammer out the details and she was able to fill in the blanks/provide suggestions to help streamline the event. Highly recommend.Nov 20, 2019Verified
I hired Danielle as a Day-Of-Coordinator (DOC) for my 130-people wedding in Elk Grove, which included a ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Long review coming up, but my take-home message is this: if you're on the fence about getting a DOC for your wedding, DO IT and get Danielle onboard! ーーーーーーー Some background on me: I do software QA for a living, and since I'm used to organizing, planning, and bringing teams of people together, I planned the majority of the wedding by myself. From finding all the individual vendors to creating detailed week-of and day-of timeline from online resources, I felt like I had everything under control. However, about a month before the wedding, a couple of my recently married friends told me how much they'd have enjoyed the day more if they had someone else running the show. I started reaching out to planners/coordinators everywhere, but everyone seemed to include services I didn't need (like all the planning that I'd already done), and/or were exorbitantly expensive. Enter Danielle. From the first meet-up, she was punctual, well-dressed, professional, and just had a calming demeanor. She was responsive and easy to reach out, as well. Danielle listened to my concerns about just wanting an affordable coordinator to run the day as I planned, and she offered to do exactly what I was looking for -- for just $600 because we were local! Let me tell you that it was a worthy investment, even for someone who felt as ready for the big day as I was. Danielle was there bright and early, helped coordinate so the bride and groom didn't accidentally see each other, helped with setup, kept us on time, and was at the venue till the very end to make sure all the breakdown and clean up was taken care of. She really made the day low-stress and enjoyable. Thank you Danielle!Jan 8, 2019Verified
I hired Danielle as my day-of wedding coordinator, and it was the best decision I made throughout the entire wedding planning process! She was a dream to work with: responsive, organized, professional, clear, and helpful. She completely understood my vision for the big day, and enacted it beautifully so I didn't have to worry about anything but walking down the aisle. I felt so at ease during the wedding because I knew Danielle had everything handled. I can't recommend her enough for all your wedding coordination needs!Apr 27, 2019Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I try to give the lowest quotes out there! My base price starts at $800 and I work with each couple individually to build a quote together. There are a lot of factors that will make me lower my price! Is it a short commute? Is it a simple day of coordination? Do you only need me there for the ceremony and half of the reception? I want to give you everything you are looking for in a coordinator without going over your budget!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I like to get to know you and your fiance! How did you meet? How did he propose? How long have you known each other? Then I find out what you need. Do you need someone to make hotel reservations, send out and keep track of invitations - or do you just need someone to make sure your day runs smoothly. A lot of couples now a days do everything themselves because its cheaper. I get that! But on your wedding day, you don't want to be doing anything but getting married! Let me be the person that makes sure that happens. I also understand not everyone is a phone call kind of person. Maybe you work odd hours or maybe you just prefer texting And emailing. In any case, I am reachable by phone, email, text, Thumbtack and Facebook. I'm flexible!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I dont have any proffesional training, only what I have learned through the many events I have put on myself. But I have done festivals, street fair production, holiday parties, birthday parties, weddings, family reunions, short notice events, all ranging in guest size of 30 people to 100,000 people.
