Great experience. Very punctual, friendly, flexible and knowledgeable. Doing the walk through to get the exact quote was exceptional. I was able to express the things that the house needed (all the way from cobwebs stuck in odd places... Like in-between windows) and the team of cleaners addressed them all. Dusting, cleaning and scrubbing. The fridge, oven, garage and front door looked amazing. Definitely good value for the money spent. I highly recommend them for your cleaning needs.

Needed a heavy duty oven cleaning. Candi arrived later than scheduled. Oven cleaning took about an hour and a half. Oven cleaner fumes required good ventilation (open windows and door). Oven looks sparkling clean. Very satisfied with the work.

These cleaners were perfect for what I needed them for - my house was overwhelmingly dirty and had lots of little things that needed to be done and these women got them done! That being said, they were 30 minutes late and didn't call to let me know. When they got here, they said they made it within their grace period. That's fine if a company has a grace period for people to come, but I'd like to know that up front for scheduling purposes, but no one mentioned that during scheduling. Additionally, I noticed a few things didn't get done after they left. They didn't clean the bathroom floor and there were still spots left under the oven from when she cleaned. These were little things compared to the detailed cleaning they did in my office, living room and bedroom, but still, I feel like for the amount I paid, these should have been done. The workers themselves were friendly, easy to communicate with, hard-working and professional. They brought all their own supplies, but had a vacuum problem or something (told them they were welcome to use mine) and didn't have enough carpet cleaner for the cleaner they rented (I had some on hand so they didn't have to go out and buy more). Overall, I would probably hire them again for general cleaning, but not if I needed things done for a specific event or for a move out. I also learned I should do a spot check before they leave, but that's more about me learning to be a more responsible service user.

Liliana was very responsive and easy to get a hold of through the app and by phone. She and her partner arrived on time and cleaned everything she said she would for the move out cleaning. The few things they did not clean (doors, walls, mold), I cleaned myself afterwards. She adjusted the price because one of the bedrooms was mostly inaccessible. They estimated the total time accurately so I could return afterwards. She called me and took pictures of the water found under the fridge before cleaning it so I could see it and explain to my landlord the situation. She and her partner were both very professional and friendly and easy to work with. The reason for 4 starts instead of 5 was because I didn't know that she doesn't clean doors, walls, and mold until after she was done. I was told that she does everything she listed in the quote, and only the items listed (which is very fair- I should've asked about the specific items that were not listed). Overall, the price was very fair, and I was very satisfied with her service. I would definitely recommend her, and I would call her again. Thank you, Liliana!

Jeremy showed up on time, resolved a problem with the new range quickly and get it installed correctly. We even had to hammer out tiles jutting into the space to make it fit correctly. He also installed the oven shelves and moved my old range out for me. He is personable, efficient and competent. I would recommend him to my friends.

Ilgar diagnosed and repaired our double oven. He showed up early and communicated regularly leading up to our appointment. He explained each step and the anticipated cost depending on outcome one way or the other. He also came out on a Sunday because of the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday, which is not easy to get a quality contractor to commit to. Recommend highly.

Overall they did a great job, but they missed the oven range and the oven and I didn’t notice until they left. I reached out to Elizabeth to let her know and she said that she would contact me to come and do it. She contacted me and asked when I was a available. I never heard back.

Reasonable rates. Had Ana’s Cleaning clean my bathrooms and kitchen for a deep cleaning. They were quick and did a great job. Only gave 4 stars because they forgot to clean my oven. Otherwise, super happy with their services.

We scheduled Sandoval to do a move-out cleaning of our 3bedroom/2bath townhome. She was responsive to all our messages and was on-time to our scheduled cleaning appointment. Our master bath and kitchen needed some extra elbow grease and she did a great job! She cleaned the home thoroughly and we were especially pleased with how great the kitchen looked (most notably the oven, fridge, and around the fridge). We definitely recommend her and would hire her again if we decide to do regular cleanings or deep cleaning.

I have had Paulette 2 times come to my rescue! Feeling very overwhelmed with "stuff" everywhere. She Took charge after a brief chat about what bothers me the most and away she went! My closet in my room and kitchens never looked so awesome! She is clean, has an amazing eye ( two actually) for rearranging things so there is much more space and easy to get to. I am truly humbled by her "work of art" and believe me it is a work of art. She is expedient, honest, trust worthy, very pleasant and easy to talk to. I cannot recommend her services enough. My ONLY regret is that I don't have her lined up for another appointment to tackle a few more eyesores around the house! ... Thank you P

My name is Trevor and I had to write to say Lyuba's service is incredible. I've been using her service for a year now at two different houses and I find her work outstanding and her professionalism equally as great. She gets all the details that you would want a cleaning service to get like blinds, microwave/oven, fan blades, dusting, floors etc. I would HIGHLY recommend her for anyone who wants a quality dependable service

    Q & A

Answers to commonly asked questions from the experts on Thumbtack.

How much do you pay for house cleaning?

Hiring a professional house cleaning service is a helpful way to have a healthy home even when your work and personal schedule is packed. House cleaning prices vary based on how many square feet your home is, how dirty your house gets, and how often the cleaning service comes. Some companies charge a set amount — such as 5 cents — per square foot, with a minimum amount, such as $100. The national average cost for house cleaning ranges between $110 and $150. Prices can be lower in areas with a lower cost of living, higher in big cities or affluent regions. You may save money by increasing the frequency of your house cleaning visits. Often a company will charge you less per cleaning when you schedule more cleanings per month. The cost advantage rewards your loyalty, and also reflects the fact that more frequent cleanings make it easier to maintain a high level of cleanliness in your home. A housecleaning service may charge more for the first visit or for one-time services than for recurring cleanings.

How much does refrigerator repair cost?

Refrigerator repair generally costs a fraction of the price of a new fridge and shouldhave your appliance up and running again in no time. The problems your refrigerator is experiencing and the parts required to fix it will affect your repair costs. Where you live can affect labor rates, which will raise or lower your costs. Here are some examples of average costs:

    • Diagnostic fees: $50-$100. Repair pros often have a service call fee or diagnostic fee to account for their time traveling to your location with all their tools to assess the problem. If you choose to have them repair the fridge, most pros then credit this fee toward your repair cost.
    • Parts: $20-$500. A new compressor averages $200, an icemaker $300, and computerized components such as touch screens and control boards average $300 or more.
    • Basic repairs: $180-$400, including parts. This price range can include repairing the evaporator or fan motor.

How much does it cost to deep clean a house?

Deep cleaning a house goes beyond the surface level to clear out the dust, grime and gunk that’s collecting on the fan blades, hiding in the blinds, and built up inside the refrigerator drawers. Deep cleaning of a home or apartment costs more than regular house cleaning because it takes more time, effort, and cleaning products. You may choose to have a deep cleaning once or several times a year in addition to your standard cleaning services. You may have a one-time deep cleaning to prepare for company or to clean after a house party. Companies may charge an hourly rate or a price per square foot, or may offer you a flat rate after they have visited your home and estimated work time. The national average house cleaning price is $110-$150, with rates ranging higher for deep-cleaning services. Here are some examples of how a company may calculate their deep-cleaning prices:

    • 10 cents per square foot (compared with 5 cents per square foot for standard house cleaning).
    • $300 for a 3,000-square-foot home.
    • $25 per hour per worker for deep-cleaning services.

    How long do fridges last?

Refrigerators can last 10 to 20 years, although the most common lifespan is about 13 years. If your fridge is acting up, consider its current age when deciding whether to invest in repairs or buy a new one. Common easy fixes include faulty thermostats, dirty coils and clogged drain lines. Thermostats and dirty coils can be generally be fixed for an average cost of $80-$100. Clogged drain lines, which usually cause leaks, can often be fixed for under $200.

More complex refrigeration repairs such as replacing a bad compressor or replenishing low refrigerant can cost more because of expensive parts and higher labor. A new compressor costs an average of $200, not including labor. If labor is an average of $75-$100 per hour, and the repair takes 3 hours, you’re looking at roughly $500. Consider the age and purchase cost of your fridge; investing $350 in a $600 fridge that is 8 years old may not be cost-effective.

How much does a move-out cleaning cost?

Moving is hard enough work even before you have to clean the empty home to perfection. Instead of scrubbing your tile grout with a toothbrush, hire a professional cleaning company to provide move-out cleaning services for you. For moving out of an apartment, cleaning prices can range from $110 to $150. When scheduling a move-out cleaning, talk with the pro and confirm all the key points they will clean to ensure you receive your deposit back.

Important areas to have cleaned include the fridge interior, the oven interior, bathroom tile, the shower and tub, all blinds, and sometimes the walls. Some cleaning companies do not quote a flat rate for a move-out cleaning, as the number of hours it may take to clean structurally identical apartments could vary greatly depending on how clean or dirty the inhabitants were. For example, move-out house cleaning prices may range from $150 to $180 for one- or two-bedroom apartments.

Hire skilled professionals for absolutely everything.
