I have been helping people lose unwanted body fat, gain muscle, get stronger, look better and feel better for 15 years, from working professionals to retirees, I have worked with many different body shapes, ages and different goals, giving me the experience you can trust to help you achieve your fitness and body composition goals. While there are many methods of training, I like to stick to principles and adequate progressions based on each individual's needs and current level of fitness, which I believe to be key to make progress in your training journey. Whether is 1 on 1 training or semiprivate 2-4 people per sessions, your training will be customized to you. In my years of training I have played soccer, done powerlifting competitions, strong man, Olympic lifting, boxing, muaythai, 5k, 10k, half marathons, triathlons, as well as, coached clients to some of these competitions, I like to walk the talk and bring real world experience into the training programs while providing lots of variety and fun into the training, whatever your goal might be, the first step is yours, leave the rest up to me, to help you get there. Jon has been my trainer for almost 1.5 years now. I absolutely love working with Jon because he comes up with creative ways to challenge you while making workouts fun. I’ve seen a lot of progress and changes in my own personal physical growth. Jon is responsive, attentive, and considerate. He tolerates my whining on days when I have no fuel but he will always push me to never settle.

I know him for more than 12 years, I meet him on he’s first job site, I was looking for a trainer that speak Spanish, it was my first time training for real 😂, I barley make exercise, but since day one he was always very professional and dedicated to his job, he always push me to my limit , at the beginning didn’t like that. His support and discipline give me a mindset change for good, unfortunately my health got compromise throw the years, he always help me out, finding a way to work out with me and my medical conditions, finding routines, making me lift the right weights, CrossFit, boxing, running, stretching, helping me to stay healthy. He’s an amazing human being, Since I meet him he’s always helping everyone, he’s worry for others not just physically, mentally and emotionally he’s a great mentor and amazing man. That now days I’m happy to call my friend.

Jon is a great coach. He took me on as a client completely out of shape and with some vague memory of CrossFit movements. Jon tailored my program to ensure I was meeting my personal goals. He took my sloppy form and transformed me into a fairly respectable looking weightlifter. Even though I do the small group classes, the sessions have few enough people that Jon is able to provide support to all of his clients. Jon’s relaxed demeanor really puts you at ease so you feel comfortable and welcomed.

I have been training with Tensile Strength for over a decade. That alone speaks volumes. This trainer, Jonathan, is extremely knowledgeable about strength building, using a variety of weights, machines, bands, and other equipment. No single workout is the same, while at the same time he always addresses the areas of shoulders, chest, back, core, gluts, legs. He adjusts according to client uniqueness and needs. His manner is clear, encouraging and forceful yet gentle. He engenders trust and safety while at the same time moves the client beyond what the client believes can be done. In my over 10 years of training, he has only cancelled 2 sessions on short notice. The reliability and consistency is unparalleled . He is exceptionally professional and appropriate. He is very principled and thoughtful in his behavior. A real rarity of knowledge, skill, personality and professionalism.
