"I helped my adult children with alterations of the house they purchased. Sean gave the pros and cons of the electrical system. Most all of the plugs or switches at the walls involved aluminum. He had intimate knowledge of that and all the locations were fixed. It was a good thing because some areas show definite signs of old burnt wire nuts.
Sean replaced the ceiling light that used to have a pull chain and he rewired it in the hot attic so it was activated with the light switch. Sean helped pull wainscoting off the wall and was instrumental with his knowledge to be sure not to damage the wall and to be able to salvage the baseboard. Upon viewing the drywall, there was a chance that it might contain asbestos. Sean took a sample and had it analyzed at a certified lab and fortunately, it came back as 0% asbestos. This is quite a relief when needing to sand the drywall that was below the wainscoting.
The desire is to remove a bedroom wall and then raise that ceiling to match the slope of the living room (to make a bigger room). He will be able to install the drywall and/or supervise the construction of the new ceiling and high wall, in addition to the determination of a necessary support column and load bearing beam, or not. Future items may include plumbing, solar, sprinklers, and cracked concrete and Sean is knowledgeable in these.
His work quality, professionalism, responsiveness, value, and punctuality were excellent.
I would recommend Sean to anyone for almost any repair or renovation. Sean is very good at explaining why a repair is needed or not."
