- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We frequent the World Market twice a year in Vegas. We also attend lectures at the colleges and stay up with all of the new trends and technologies. Through vendors, the Design Center and NKBA, we are able to gather information on new appliances, color palettes and the latest in home furnishings.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
We both have a background in design. We actually met in college when we were pursuing degrees in Interior Design. We both worked on a home for Habitat for Humanity through an organization called Furnishing Hope. After completing this home and seeing the family's joy when they realized that they were coming home to a fully furnished house, we were both hooked! It is wonderful to be able to use your talents to create spaces for clients that they love and live in for many years.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
We work on a lot of remodels-updating Kitchens and Bathrooms mainly. We have just completed several medical offices and a boutique hotel. We have done smaller jobs, where the client just wanted to update a living room or bedroom. We even offer a package where we can offer the client 2 hours of design time for $299.00 and we will help them with color palettes, furnishing suggestions and ideas for space planning. Whether the project is small or large in scale, we bring our all to everything we do.
