It's my pleasure to write a review of Peter, from whom I've taken clarinet lessons for more than a year. When I started, I had just bought a clarinet at a pawn shop and decided at the age of 65 to learn how to play the clarinet. I couldn't read music, hadn't the foggiest idea of what those holes on the clarinet were about; I really was starting at square one. Why? Because I had taken violin lessons in elementary school and had come to the conclusion I had no musical talent. So I decided to check if that were true. Peter is a fabulous teacher, and the result now is that pick up a sheet of music and I play. And it sounds right! Peter displayed just the right amount of patience and discipline, the latter being done always diplomatically but firmly and always made sense. He slowly took me through the steps necessary to learn how to play, and as time went on, a lesson was always an interesting time. For me. Peter never showed disdain, but there sure were times when he could have. Peter is an excellent teacher and his teaching has brought great joy in my life. I may not be so talented, but now I I know I can play a clarinet. I can't recommend him as a teacher more highly.

Peter have given 2 lessons in Clarinet to my daughter so far. My impression about Peter's teaching is that he is very knowledgeable in Clarinet, very patient in teaching and explains very well. I did lot of work in searching for a Clarinet teacher before hiring Peter, and now I know that I made a good decision. I have no doubt that my daughter will have great improvement in the future by taking clarinet lessons from him.
