Working with Daniel and Kimmie saved us soooo much stress for our wedding! Our venue was a "blank slate" venue meaning all of the decor, furniture, lighting etc. had to be coordinated by ourselves and our vendors. Daniel and Kimmie made the process of working with all our vendors such a breeze so all we had to worry about was the "getting married part." I especially want to give Kimmie a shout out, as she made a lot of executive decisions on the day of that made sooo much more sense than what we had originally envisioned lol. She also made sure that we (the couple) were taken care of and that our caterer didn't take off with our heirloom cake utensils!! And also somehow managed to wrangle all our decor by herself! She is a powerhouse!! Overall I cannot recommend Creative Happenings enough, especially compared with other month-of coordinators who were charging more than double their price! Thank you Daniel and Kimmie for making our special day so smooth and memorable!
Chris was our day of coordinator for our wedding this past Saturday and he went above and beyond for us.
We had 3 phone calls prior to the day of our wedding. Chris had an excel sheet for us to fill out an excel template to keep our timeline on track. It was incredibly helpful, as I tend to forget or look over small details. Chris was very accessible during this whole process leading up to our wedding day. He responded promptly and always made sure I was at ease with my preparations.
On the day of the wedding, Chris arrived to our venue as he said he would. He was fully hands on, making sure everything was set up exactly as how I had wanted. When I arrived to the venue, everything looked perfect. He made sure our vendors also got what they needed so we could have a smooth cocktail hour while I had my make-up retouched. During this time I had some jitters, so Chris gave me a pep talk to help me be in a better headspace. I was able to really enjoy our wedding night knowing Chris was nearby to troubleshoot any possible mishaps. He helped load our car with decor and leftover food at the end of the night even if it wasn’t part of his job description. He really took care of us. Our wedding night was incredible and absolutely unforgettable all thanks to Chris and the Creative Happens team!
Future brides, do yourself a favor and get Chris and Dan as your weddingcoordinator. They are absolutely amazing and worth the investment!!
Where do I begin? Dan was my day of coordinator for my wedding in Valencia about 2 weeks ago, but he was there throughout the wedding planning journey whenever I needed him or had questions. He guided me on best practices and even attended a meeting with the venue, in which he worked with the venue coordinator- taking a lot of stress off my shoulders. He is confident and incredibly experienced in his craft. On the day of the wedding he created timelines for all of the vendors, set up the decor, and kept the wedding on schedule. My poker table vendor didn’t show up on time and when I asked him about it during the wedding, he said “don’t worry, they’ll be here”. 10 minutes later, the Poker Table appears. I don’t know how he does it, but without Dan/his team/Creative Happens, I know my wedding wouldn’t have been as beautiful and organized without him. I could keep going about how great this company is, and if I could give them 1 million stars, I would. They made the wedding a success with 0 issues.

We hired Dan with Creative Happens for full wedding planning starting just under a year out, and it was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From our very first call, we knew we were in good hands. Dan turned what can feel like an endless, overwhelming to-do list into a manageable process, staying responsive and helpful every step of the way. He brought great vendor recommendations, helped with the layout and kept everything organized and on track. On the wedding day itself, Dan was an incredible calming presence, keeping us on track with our timeline so that all we had to do was have fun and be in the moment. When we ran into an unexpected incident during the ceremony, Dan made sure it was handled seamlessly. We cannot thank Dan and Creative Happens enough for making our wedding such a great memory. Dan and Cindy were absolutely wonderful! They were there with us throughout the entire wedding planning process and day of execution. They checked in and made a wonderful spreadsheet that helped us manage vendors and Cindy was great, running all the coordination in the background. She allowed my Wife and I to have a complete peace of mind while getting married so that the reception venue and vendor service were absolutely perfect! I would HIGHLY recommend Dan and his team to anyone who wants to plan and, more importantly, enjoy their event stress free!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We offer excellent low-rates for both "Day of" coordinating and full wedding/event planning. We're happy to send you a rate card covering our most popular package pricing. This includes "Day Of" Coordination starting at $1,250, Partial Planning Packages between $3,900 and $4,900 and Full Wedding Planning starting at $5,900. We customize the rate to best fit your wedding goals.
We also offer Party and Event Coordination and Planning rates starting at $1,250 (based on the size of your event).
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once a customer has expressed interest in us and we decide to work together, we work closely with them to plan out their every need for the wedding or event, ensuring that when the day comes, they're able to enjoy themselves while we handle the logistics.

Our team of 2 Wedding Planners and 7 Coordinators have over 22 years combined experience on more than 500 weddings and events.
