Dan was amazing. He was professional, supportive, and really kept us on track through our wedding day. Not only was he our planner, but was our officiant and he was so amazing through it all. He was organized, friendly, and great to work with. We had monthly meetings, up until our day and he was great with communication throughout the process. He truly made our day amazing! The photo booth was a great addition to our wedding and everybody loved it. He was professional, supportive, and really kept us on track through our wedding day. Not only was he our planner, but was our officiant and he was so amazing through it all. He was organized, friendly, and great to work with. He definitely made our vision come to life. Amazing! Definitely would recommend.

Working with our day-of coordinator Chris was a breeze. He's relaxed, personable, professional, and clearly experienced in navigating the ins-and-outs of a successful wedding day. In the months leading up to the wedding, he took the time to carefully understand our needs on the day of the ceremony. On our rehearsal day, he herded our wedding party and offered helpful suggestions without being pushy. He shined through most by troubleshooting absolutely everything on the day of the wedding - working with venue staff, watching to make sure we were following our schedule, and communicating necessary info to us tactfully and calmly. What you need most on your wedding day is someone you can trust that understands the wedding vision and can see its execution through to completion, filling in the holes where you may have missed them and handling the unexpected when you are at your most stressed. Chris earned our trust through and through and I cannot recommend him enough.

If I could have chosen all 5 I would have. Dan was nothing short of incredible. My daughter’s wedding was the best I’ve ever seen. He handled everything flawlessly. Highly recommend!!!

From the BEGINNING of planning our wedding, I knew that the first thing I had to do was get help with it. I needed someone who was helpful, kind, hardworking, creative, organized, experienced and knowledgeable in all things weddings because I did not have a clue in where to start. I spoke with a few people from various companies vying for my business, but from the first moment I spoke with Dan, I could immediately tell the difference in how efficient & knowledgeable he was in wedding planning and coordinating. He explained everything very nicely so we could understand. From the start, Dan was so helpful and an expert in all things weddings so we knew we were in great hands. Let me begin by saying that I was floored by the level of organization, efficiency, and genuine helpfulness of Dan + Creative Happens went above and beyond bring my wedding vision to life, ensuring every detail was not only included, but exceeded my expectations. All the moments of Dan’s suggestions & collaborations, I am so grateful for- especially on the day of our wedding, when so many things could’ve gone wrong, he made sure they happened & made everything right. Thank you so much for suggesting the first look - we recently lost our fur-baby (our dog & best friend of 14years) - and having her be a part of our first look meant the world to us & these are memories that we will genuinely cherish in our hearts forever. We were able to eat, drink and be merry/married. And we actually got to enjoy our special day thanks to Dan and his taking care of us as a couple. My husband and I are beyond impressed with Dan and Chris. They were by far the best investment we made for our wedding. Our original wedding was supposed to be on 8/20/2023 in Malibu on the day of the hurriquake. After, one round of planning we had to cancel. Dan without a hitch agreed to help us with our second plan once we figured it out. Every question we asked he answered pretty quickly and with so much detail. They have helped us so much. They made me feel safe and secure that everything was going to be okay and with their help of course it was. We did not have almost any issues - even when the makeup lady delayed the day we caught up with minimal stress. That was the only issue and had nothing to do with creative happens other than they can repair things quickly. They are so kind and cute. We cannot recommend these guys enough. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. We appreciate you beyond words! I mean this and I am a tough, a type critic. Simply the best.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We offer excellent low-rates for both "Day of" coordinating and full wedding/event planning. We're happy to send you a rate card covering our most popular package pricing. This includes "Day Of" Coordination starting at $1,250, Partial Planning Packages between $3,900 and $4,900 and Full Wedding Planning starting at $5,900. We customize the rate to best fit your wedding goals. We also offer Party and Event Coordination and Planning rates starting at $1,250 (based on the size of your event).
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once a customer has expressed interest in us and we decide to work together, we work closely with them to plan out their every need for the wedding or event, ensuring that when the day comes, they're able to enjoy themselves while we handle the logistics.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our team of 2 Wedding Planners and 7 Coordinators have over 22 years combined experience on more than 500 weddings and events.
