SD Dog Training were incredibly friendly, responsive and assuring from the very start. After our consultation I knew 100% that I wanted them to work with my dog. I would highly recommend them to friends and family because of their care and attentiveness towards my dog BMO.

My 6.5 year old pit bull Mia spent two weeks with the SD dog training team. I am so glad I pulled the trigger on this. They’ve given her the tools and training foundation to give her an overall better quality of life, and taught me the basic tools on how to keep practicing with her. She’s INCREDIBLY less anxious, able to ignore stressors that would previously cause her to go a bit crazy, and just in general able to handle dog and human interactions in a much more calm way. Mia will be boarding there from now on when I travel for work.

SD Dog Training has changed my life and my dogs life! Rio was always a sweet boy but caused a lot of stress and after hanging out with Danny he has the best manners and is such a joy to everybody, the day I picked him up - I was walking him and a couple stopped in their car to compliment how good he was doing on his walk! They were so welcoming to Rio and I felt great leaving him for the two weeks program because I knew he would have a good time and be well cared for! Thank you so much for giving me a great life with my dog!

So grateful to Daniel and Tori for their excellent dog training. Highly highly recommend. My family wanted to adopt Scooter, our 2 year old pitbull, from the Humane Society and fell in love with him instantly. However when we brought him home, he was so excited and beyond controllable that it was very overwhelming for us. More importantly, our other dog was not fond of his lack of boundaries and lack of appreciation of her personal space and we were terrified of a bad outcome. Not knowing what to do as we felt very unsafe with our other dog, we took Scooter back to the Humane Society with heavy heavy hearts. Ridden with guilt and heartbroken, we were determined to figure out a way to safely bring Scooter back into our home. I came across Tori and Daniel on Thumbtack while searching for dog trainers, and they got back to me within 30 minutes, on a Saturday! Daniel did a phone consultation with us and within the next hour, met us at the Humane Society so we could re-adopt Scooter and get him into their training program. Tori and Daniel housed Scooter in their home for 2 weeks, where he learned proper social skills, boundary recognition, and a series of commands. Scooter was exposed to a number of other dogs and came back to us truly transformed. While his excitable personality is still ever present, Scooter learned the right set of skills to safely integrate back into our home with our other dog. I can't say enough great things about Daniel and Tori. We got daily updates and photos of our baby, and felt so confident that he was in good hands. I loved that he lived with them in their home rather than be in a kennel of sorts. Their compassion in meeting us at the pound and helping us rescue him in the blink of an eye is something we will never forget. If you are looking for a dog trainer, by people who truly love dogs, look no further. These people are angels!

For you the consultation is to get to know us, check out all the different training options we offer, and allow us the opportunity to talk your dog for a walk, read his/her body language get to take a look at their actions and demenour and give you real & transparent advice from San Diegos only Canine Conversationalist & Animal Behaviorist!

I am certified by multiple dog training companies, I have multiple degrees a bachelor's, Master's, and Doctorate degree. I'm also certified by the Red Cross for Animal First Aid and the by American Kennel Club(AKC) as trainer & Evaluator for: CGC, Therapy Dog, Trick dogs, Urban Training, Star Puppy, and all other dog certifications outside of breeding and showing dogs!:)
