FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My desire is to bring art appreciation in the world to the level of literacy. Everyone is born with artistic ability. I see so much of unrealized creative potential that's dormant or suppressed in people, that I made it my mission to help those who come to me discover their natural 'artist within'. I love enabling my students be fully self-expressed through art.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I teach art skills: painting, drawing, and mixed media, and help my students develop from a beginner to a proficient individual. I provide my students with understanding of the old-world and contemporary techniques and creative projects through inspiring practical studio experience. Our programs help teens to succeed with their application to college of their choice towards their dream career. Our classes are also tailored to the adults interested in art for personal or professional growth. In rare instances we accept children who exhibit special learning and listening abilities.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
You should study the art of the students currently taking classes. The weakest as well as the strongest. This will tell you much more about the effectiveness of the instruction than studying the work of the instructor. Is there diversity of styles and individual expression? Talk to the instructor to find out what you should expect as the result of the class for you personally. Talk to the students of the school you are considering, to see how long they have been studying there and whether or not they can paint on their own. We welcome inquiries like that at our Art Center and invite you to come in and see for yourself the work of the emerging artists in person and on our website LosinaArtCenter.com
