FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing depends on the scope, size, and complexity of the project. Some projects are better suited for an hourly structure, while others work best with a flat design fee. After learning more about the space and the level of support needed, I provide clients with a clear outline of the recommended services and pricing structure before moving forward. I believe in being transparent about expectations, deliverables, and budget so clients understand exactly what’s included and can choose the level of design support that works best for them.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My process usually begins with a conversation to learn more about the client, their space, lifestyle, goals, and overall aesthetic. From there, I schedule an in-home consultation so I can see the space in person, discuss functionality, take measurements if needed, and better understand how they want the home to feel and function. After the consultation, I develop a design direction that may include mood boards, layouts, finish selections, furnishings, color palettes, and overall recommendations depending on the scope of the project. I guide clients through the decision-making process step by step so it feels organized and approachable rather than overwhelming. Throughout the project, I work collaboratively with the client and communicate clearly so the design stays cohesive, intentional, and aligned with their vision and budget.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I earned my Associate’s Degree in Interior Design from San Diego Mesa College. My education gave me a strong foundation in space planning, materials, color theory, drafting, and residential design, while my years working in aesthetics further shaped my eye for detail, texture, and creating environments that feel both beautiful and welcoming.
