- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is fair, transparent, and based on the type of job, distance, and how many movers are needed. I offer hourly rates for moving and flat rates for deliveries and junk removal jobs. There are no hidden fees, but some additional charges may apply for: • Stairs (usually 2nd floor or higher) • Long-distance travel (more than 20 miles from 92110 area) • Second or third mover (if needed for larger jobs) I also offer referral bonuses for any new clients you send my way, and first-time customers may qualify for a discount depending on the job. If you’re ever unsure, just ask — I always provide clear breakdowns so you know what to expect upfront
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start by learning exactly what the customer needs — whether it’s a move, a delivery, or a junk removal job. I’ll ask a few quick questions about the items involved, locations, access (stairs, elevators, etc.), and preferred timing to give an accurate quote. Once everything is confirmed, I show up on time, fully prepared with the right equipment, tools, and help if needed. Throughout the job, I focus on working efficiently while treating every item with care and respect. I keep the customer updated along the way and always make sure they’re satisfied before wrapping up. My goal is to make the whole process stress-free and smooth — and to earn their trust for future jobs or referrals.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
While I didn’t go through formal schooling for moving or logistics, I’ve gained hands-on experience through years of doing this work directly — starting with helping friends and family, then building it into a business. Over time, I’ve learned proper lifting techniques, furniture-safe transport methods, efficient stacking, and how to secure loads safely for both local and long-distance jobs. I’ve also trained my team to follow these same standards so every client gets reliable, professional service. Beyond that, I constantly learn through real-world experience, customer feedback, and staying focused on safety and efficiency with every job
