Packing and Unpacking

I just moved to California from the Midwest a week ago and desperately needed help unpacking and organizing my home. I’m on base and my husband is active duty and gone too much to help out. Cassie and Rochelle were amazing with not only unpacking and organizing but also helping me get rid of things I don’t need. They up cycle and take the things we don’t want to donation centers, which is awesome! They also gave me good resources being new to the west coast. They helped create a play room, set up my kids bedroom, decorate, unpack and organize our kitchen, declutter our hall full of boxes, and offered so many useful ideas. They work well individually and as a team. I would recommend both of them to anyone anywhere and can’t say enough how thankful I am for their help.

Rochelle worked diligently to combine two storage lockers into one and also organize my home. I had storage lockers that had clothes, household items, tools, storage, outdoor folding chairs, decorations, etc. I had a wide variety of items that needed to be consolidated and organized. She organized and found a location for everything I was keeping. She took my donation items with her and saved me a trip - thanks! She also organized areas of my home. I live on a boat and have small spaces for storage . She organized my kitchen, living room and bedroom closet/storage. She had great ideas where to relocate my pantry so I could actually see the food items and have easy access to them. Thank you Rochelle for helping organize my home and storage. I feel that a weight has lifted off my shoulders as I enjoy all of my organization!

The sign on Rochelle's car says it all! " Declutter your life". I am so thankful that I found Declutter on Demand. Rochelle and Cassi were amazing to work with! They are on time, super fast and helpful with sorting, trashing, organizing and coming up with a plan. They are both very friendly and positive to work with. I found them to be very efficient and considerate of my time. We filled four trash bins, 2 car loads of stuff to donate and electronics to refurbish plus one load of trash that was hauled to the dumps! I originally contacted six different companies to get quotes. The range of estimates I got was $35 to $ 65/hr and $165/ hr (that was for a project manager and two assistants). I knew my two car garage was a very big job and wanted more than one person to help get the job done. I chose Declutter on Demand because they were very reasonably priced! I got two awesome people for $70/hr. Best deal out there and worth every cent!!! Before I met Rochelle, I was so overwhelmed by the clutter in my two car garage. It was draining, frustrating and was giving me so much stress that I started having anxiety attacks. I knew something had to change but where do I even begin? I knew I just couldn't do it alone and needed professional help. Getting help was the best decision I ever made. Now my garage is well organized. Everything has it's place. So much stress and weight has been lifted! I can't thank you enough Rochelle and Cassi!!! You really changed my life and helped me emotionally and physically. I highly recommend anyone who wants to feel better and see the mess gone, to not hesitate to give Rochelle a call. You won't regret it and they will help you declutter your life!

Rochelle, was on time and spent 10 hours with us to help us declutter our master bedroom. This is something that’s been our household project for several months. She also gave us a creative idea to use our garage more effectively. Rochelle gave us some well needed momentum to turn our house into a home.

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    I charge $55/per hr or $50/hr for cash. I like to offer a few freebie storage solutions and always carry an assortment on hand. I’m happy to remove trash and deliver donations at no extra charge for my time.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    We start with a phone consult to establish needs and expectations. Then schedule a minimum 3hr. session. Some jobs can be finished in 1-2 sessions. Plan for a whole house to take several visits.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    Working in hospitality I consistently maintained a clean and efficiently organized work space.
