I absolutely love working with Monica! She’s amazing at what she does. She takes the time to write out my workout plan in order to work towards my goals. She’s amazing at explaining each work out and pointing out what I am doing incorrectly to fix my form. She has always made me feel comfortable and after 3 months of working out with her I feel so much stronger and more confident with my body! Monica helped me strength train and I was able to build more muscle in my arms and legs and it helped with some knee pain I was having. She adapted her training techniques to accommodate my disability with my half arm and really motivated me to continue with workouts at home during COVID-19, as I am at high risk. She also started nutrition counseling with me and I have modified my eating habits and continue to work towards my goal with her assistance. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I schedule a 10 minute call to learn more about you and your goals and see if I can help you. From there, we hop on a zoom call to discuss my programs and then we commit to a program that suits you and get you started with your training and nutrition program right away!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I am an SDSU grad and took several courses pertaining to Kinesiology. I have also competed in the National Physique committee bikini division, which has helped me learn about a whole different realm of fitness. I am also a NASM certified Personal Trainer and soon to be Strength & Conditioning Coach with the NSCA. I am also a Certified Nutrition Coach through Precision Nutrition and help women lose weight while eating foods they love!
