Introduction: Hello, wonderful people of Dallas! I'm the owner of Sequoia Training Club, a state-of-the-art fitness facility here in Dallas designed exclusively for personal trainers and their clients. I'm currently taking a limited number of clients and would love to talk to you about your fitness goals. If the thought of going to the gym makes you want to curl up in a ball, I’ll get you hooked on the increased strength, vitality, and confidence that you’ll gain from training. If the gym is already your temple, I’ll bring you training regimes that will develop new skills and get you past your plateaus. Our partnership will help you to live your healthiest, most vibrant life. In addition to my personal training certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine, I have a master’s degree in human evolution from the University of Cambridge (UK) that informs my approach to movement and nutrition. These principles will be applied to the design of a progressive training routine focused on achieving adaptations specific to your goals and biomechanics. We will work in a beautiful and private 5,900 square foot fitness facility with state-of-the-art equipment. We will use a blend of unique and highly effective training techniques from a variety of disciplines. We will look at the whole picture, including nutritional and other lifestyle changes that will help you achieve an enhanced state of being. Some of the methods my clients love include: - Advanced bodyweight training using gymnastics progressions and equipment. Gymnasts are ripped, right? That’s because gravity, when properly applied, can develop an amazing physique. - The Thai kickboxing art of Muay Thai. Have you ever left a dent in a heavy bag by throwing a kick? It is deeply satisfying and highly demanding metabolically. - Functional training. Using a mix of dynamic functional movements you build the power, agility, and responsiveness required to prevent injuries in training and every day life. - Video movement analysis. A detailed breakdown of your form during certain exercises, as well as of your static posture, will help us to improve your biomechanics and reverse some of the maladaptive effects of our modern lifestyle.

If you hire Michael as your Personal Trainer and follow his advice, you will reach your fitness goals! For me it was all about losing weight and building muscle and Michael has been a key component in reaching my goal. He pushes me to do my best while providing encouragement. The workouts are different each day and every exercise is tailored around my goals and my abilities. I have been working with Michael for almost 4 months so far and I have lost 25 pounds and also able to build muscle at the same time. Hiring Michael to be my trainer was a great decision for me, and I definitely recommend him. He cares about your goals and much as you do and will definitely help you achieve them.

Michael is THE BEST! He is a one of kind personal trainer. He is kind, professional, and knowledgeable. He understands the body, movement, and mobility. He has helped me heal shoulder and back issues that I have had for years. I feel stronger then ever have in the shortest amount of time. He is customizing my program to the races and fitness goals I have. It is unique exercises that never get boring. He mixes gymnastic rings, with body weight, with kettle bells, medicine ball, boxing and weights. Don’t think I can actually articulate how great he is! Also, when I travel he sets me up for success. He is stuck with me for the long hall! Definitely recommend him.

I am not sure where to start because there are so many things I like and appreciate when it comes to working with Michael. I have worked with a few other personal trainers and know that engaging a personal trainer is a commitment. Working with Michael has been an awesome experience. He is very knowledgeable about the whole fitness spectrum, from nutrition to weight lifting. I always feel like he cares about helping me attain the level of health to which I strive. Even in just the past 2 months I have seen some amazing results. I have really enjoyed doing body weight exercises on the gymnastic rings. Michael knows a whole host of exercises at varying levels of difficulty. It has also been a lot of fun learning the basics of Muay Thai boxing. I would not hesitate to recommend Michael. He is an awesome personal trainer.
