My 6-yr-old son started taking lessons nearly 2 years ago at the studio and we couldn't be happier with his progress. He looks forward to meeting with Ms. Pam every week and gets to play a mix of pop and classical music to keep him engaged. They are growing like crazy which only shows how loved they are by their students. They are organized, communicate well, make payment easy and are obviously passionate about what they are doing. Their impact on the community and commitment to their business is quite impressive.

After 2 years of group lessons with little progress, we are happy we switched to private lessons with Ryan. Ryan is professional yet makes learning fun and engaging for my 7 year old son. He is also very reasonably priced. A friend recommended him to us and now seeing his teaching abilities i would recommend him as well.

I feel Jennifer and I have a great connection , we get along fabulously. She is a tremendously talented musician and singer (obviously ). Her abilities as a pianist and singer is equally matched by her ability to professionally yet pragmatically teach, mentor, tutor and guide one in the art of operatic singing. We have established goals. She is the epitome of promptness. I always look forward to my lessons with Jennifer. It is an honor to be her student . Sincerely - Dave

Our piano teacher Lisa Laughbaum is the best teacher we ever had. She helped get our daughter's enthusiasm for the piano back! Our daughter had quit and now that she's taking lessons with Lisa she's learning a new song every week, she's loving it and is advancing fast! Lisa has a studio in Encinitas on El Camino Real and Encinitas Blvd, it's called the Music Workshop, you find it in the Kohl's mall next to Thai Pan upstairs.

We had our son at School of Rock in Point Loma. That was a good school, but far away. And, the private lessons at School of Rock were too short. The focus was more on playing with the band. US Music is better. The private lessons are a full hour long. My sons drum teacher Todd comes to our house so our son gets to learn on his own acoustic set. To us that's a big plus over School of Rock. They also have bands students can join like School of Rock so students can play with others. And, they hold recitals. In the short time my son has been with US Music Lessons I have noticed a major improvement.

I once took some group singing lessons from Tricia, though I had never tried any voice training before. It was quite fun and Tricia can show a beginner how to practice to improve the voice as well as boost some self-confidence about singing in front of people. She also helped me correct my speech so that people can hear me more clearly. Her amazing ears can capture exactly what it is for each individual to improve on either speech or singing. Tricia is a person with very powerful spirit, so just being in her presence is quite energizing. She can work with professionals and much more advanced students too, so I believe that all levels of people have something to benefit from her lessons. Mahalo nui loa, Tricia!

Joe is an excellent guitar teacher and I am happy to recommend him without reservation. His instruction has been well suited to my learning pace. When I practice I am able to apply what I learn in our weekly lessons so I have a real sense of accomplishment week to week. Joe is an effective teacher and I look forward to continuing his instruction.

I've so far only had one lesson with Theresa, but I enjoyed it greatly. She immediately put me at ease as we started the lesson, despite how nervous I was. The songs chosen were within my comfort zone while still pushing the range of my voice. I highly recommend her.

Cindy is a really amazing voice teacher. She has a great deal of knowledge of music and singing, and, most importantly, knows how to effectively convey her knowledge to her students. I have noticed a big improvement in my voice with her guidance. She has really helped me to open up my voice, and get rid of many of my old bad vocal habits. With her lessons, I have noticed my vocal technique become more powerful. She has helped me to find a new level of freedom in my voice, and to connect emotionally with the pieces I sing. The last, but not the least, her passion for music and teaching makes learning from her a pleasure! Masha
