I have decades of experience in the bodybuilding and fitness worlds as a competitor, coach, trainer and manager. I've won bodybuilding and fitness competitions. I know how to gain muscle, lose fat, gain flexibility and aerobic conditioning, firm and tone, and get strong ! I know bodybuilding and nutrition extremely well. In addition to being a champion myself, I've trained, managed and coached guys at every level...all the way to the Olympia level.
I've worked with men, women, teens and children and I know the challenges that they face...and I've had great success. I'm affordable, and I'll work with you.
As a 20 year combat veteran of the Navy, including service in the Naval Special Warfare community, I know how to motivate people.
As a former USA National Champion in full contact fighting, I also offer training in martial combat, military style fighting and self-defense. I've taught self defense to men, women and children for many years. I've fought in judo, boxing, jujitsu, karate, muay thai, and an advanced form of Krav Maga called Hisardut (an Israeli word meaning "survival"). I am not interested in what looks pretty; I only care about who at the end of a confrontation walks away alive. This is easily learned, easily remembered, works under stress, and is effective against any opponent, regardless of size or strength. I also teach you how to avoid a dangerous situation in the first place. You will learn self defense against bare hands, blunt weapons, blades, and guns. I'm an excellent teacher, and I'll teach you things you won't learn anywhere else. Please feel free to call with questions ! I'm the former COO of a high-end security company. I've trained SWAT teams, police, and other law enforcement agents in weapons and tactics. I've also provided training for unarmed civilians in the case of an active shooter on campus or in a public building. I've trained civilians in shooting for home defense. As a Navy instructor in CQB (close quarter battle), I've trained shipboard security and Navy SEALs in counter terrorist weapons and tactics. The method of shooting that I teach to both civilians and law enforcement agents is called Israeli Instinctive Shooting, which does not require aiming, uses only gross motor movements, is very accurate, and works under intense stress.

Steve is very knowledgeable about getting into shape, staying in shape and eating the right foods to accomplish my fitness goals. In a very short time I lost 15 lbs and increased my overall body strength. Steve is very personable and is there to help motivate and mentor as well. As an executive I have difficulty with my busy schedule, however Steve is very flexible to allow me my training as needed. Steve was very professional and nice. He got our 3 year old to warm up to him quickly. He worked at a slow pace, playing with our 3 year old to keep him interested. Then got a little more into teaching some new things. All this in one session. We were pleased with his ability to get our 3 year old to interact and learn.

You have no idea what a class act you are getting when you take Steve as your personal trainer! His knowledge of Physiotherapy and anatomy of the body is without parallel. And he has the unique annoying ability to encourage you when you are down and/or lazy. He has the absolute ability to motivate you. His knowledge of physical training is vast and extends into marshal arts, boxing, muy thay and all forms of physical activity. He has been our trainer since 2006 and has kept us in extraordinary shape for our age, which is over 80.

• Simply put, Mr. Diamond's outstanding.
I am a member of the Japanese National Fencing Team, and Mr. Diamond has been with me from the very first international event I went to. He has provided me with absolutely phenomenal advice in regard to mental toughness, and it has definitely paid off. Having a mental coach with military background is a huge advantage over just talking to a psychiatrist down the street.
Mr. Diamond is a great mentor, and is extremely capable at giving me advice mentally and physically. I would definitely recommend his services, both in mental and physical aspects of any sport.

As the last review pointed out, Steve is a world-class athlete in multiple arenas. The last review summed up his professional abilities; however, I have some very important personal points to add.
1. Steve is goal-based. Either you provide the goals, or you discuss with him what your goals should be.
2. Steve does an absolutely exceptional job in making sure that the safety aspect of your training is SOLID. I've trained with Steve for approximately one year in martial combat (fighting), and thanks to the very thorough warm-ups and his care as an instructor, I have never gotten an injury.
3. Steve loves what he does, and has been an outstanding motivator to me.
When I started with Steve I weighed approximately 170 pounds, could do maybe 30 push ups, 10 pull ups, 20 squats.
After 6 months of training with Steve once per week, I was doing 100 push ups, weighed 140 pounds, 100 squats, hundreds of leg raises, 20 pull ups, AND THIS IS BACK TO BACK NON-STOP!
