Introduction
I live in Carmel Mountain Ranch and have been working on various property investment projects. I enjoy improving living spaces and have built up quite an arsenal of handyman skills. I love to take on interesting projects that fit my talents and make every effort to exceed the norm.
Here's a non-inclusive list of some of the projects I've done recently: ceiling fan installation, indoor and outdoor light installation, cabinet refurbishment, slider drawers, picture hanging, moulding installation, electrical switch and outlet upgrades, fence and gate repair/building, minor drywall repair, weather stripping, earthquake safety support installation for bookcases and similar, and many more.
I am very comfortable teaching the client about what I'm doing, so they can feel more confident in doing some of these jobs themselves - or just knowing what considerations are required for a particular task.

Rob was very professional and 15 minutes early which was awesome! I needed 5 floating shelves to be installed at my place of buisness. He finished in an hour and also repaired the holes from me trying to do it myself previously. Rob also made 100 percent sure of where I wanted them as far as how high on the wall, centering etc. he was very detailed and cleaned everything up without me having to ask. He was also the best price out of all the other quotes I got. I highly recommend him!!

Today, I met Rob Helin for the first time when he came to lower a dining room hanging light fixture for me from a very high ceiling. He did an excellent job. He was friendly and efficient. He arrived 10 mins. early, which I liked and finished the job quickly. He used his own extendable tall ladder. Rob had to open each link in the new chain to extend the electrical wires. It was a small job but he was willing to do it and did it with a smile. I appreciated his help since I had asked several other people, but they either did not have a tall enough ladder or had an attitude that they couldn't be bothered. I have several properties and I know a small HOA that would like to have him on their call list so we will be asking for his help again in the future.

We hired rob to mount a flat screen TV on to a bed room wall. By the time he left he had not only beautifully accomplished that task but also reinforced our closet, fixed a broken handle, purchased screws to fix a broken bed, purchased supplies to creatively hide visible wires, work on an uncooperative ceiling fan, installed cabinet knobs, and on top of that he took home a broken dresser and shattered jewelry box to fix and bring back at a later date. He arrived on time, professional and ready to help! Rob is reasonable in price and does impeccable work! I plan on using him in the future and I would absolutely recommend him to a friend. Rob has been fantastic. He is very professional, honest and knowledgeable. We loved working with him for mounting our tv and we have already had him back 3 more times for help installing shelving systems in the garage and two closets as well as patching drywall and fixing a cabinet surround. He will offer suggestions on equipment or research equipment you already bought to assess whether it's your best option. All around very helpful and definitely on our speed dial for odd jobs.
