Look no farther for the best bartender in all of San Diego county. I needed a bartender to work ASAP for wedding and his team did an excellent job. 1) His team was awesome in doing all of the thinking ahead of time. 2) His team answers emails and texts back immediately. I would email late at night and he would respond in the early morning. 3) Very professional and nice set-up for the event. They knew exactly what I wanted and made sure I had it ahead of time. 4) The price was perfect for our needs and budget. 5) They were on-time and early. This is a huge plus. 6) My wedding was on Camp Pendleton and it is sometimes hard to get on base. His team all passed background checks and it made it smoother for me to know that they were good to go. 7) I was stressed and they knew I was .... so they helped as much as needed to make my wedding AMAZING. I love his team for their hard work and would hire them again.
We chose Dominique as the photographer for our 10th wedding anniversary. So happy with our selection! He was able to recommend a perfect beach site for the shoot. We were hoping for some ideas beyond the basic Stand-on-the-beach-and-smile photos, and he did not disappoint...interesting camera angles, cool pose suggestions, and a wonderful ability to put us at ease. After contacting around a dozen "photographers" who advertised via Groupons, Dom truly stood out above the rest as a serious professional. He answered all of my questions in a timely and informative manner. Even better, after the shoot, we were able to view our photos so quickly! Another plus...pricing was VERY reasonable for prints. (It is always heartbreaking to have a great photo session only to realize later that a dozen or so additional prints will equal a mortgage payment.) I hope to have the pleasure of working with him again for future anniversaries!
I was SO VERY pleased with the Photo booth services Brandon provided for our July 11th wedding. We had explored a few other photo booth options before finding him and were shocked at how much some people were asking for the same or similar services that Brandon offered us at a fraction of the cost. Early on, I was very impressed with the professional service we received from him and he did not disappoint. The streamlined, yet sufficiently detailed user-friendly forms he would send us when it was time to provide relevant information or make a decision was reassuring knowing that Brandon had everything under control (and that there was one less thing I had to worry about!). I also appreciated that we didn't have to make a ton of decisions all at once. Instead, we would get an e-mail saying, It's time to choose this.. (ie: the cover for the Guest Book Album we added to our 4 hour photo booth package - highly recommended that addition!). Not only this, but Brandon went above and beyond my expectations when he took it upon himself to reach out to our Reception Site coordinator (whose contact information I provided him on one of those forms he sent us), not because he needed to request that specific items be provided at the site, but rather because he just wanted to "fill them in" and let them know that he didn't need any power, tables, or props, because he provided all of those things on his own at no additional cost! I definitely feel we got our money's worth for all of the things we received such as: unlimited prints, 4 pictures on each photo strip, many props, nice Scrapbook-quality photobook Guest book with custom cover ($50 extra...worth every penny!), customized strip design/image, special effects available for the pictures (like black and white or colored hue), small stool in booth for littler children, 4+ hours of operating service, and so much more! My guests LOVED the wide assortment of props, unlimited prints, and the ability they had to send their pictures to themselves instantly using the tablet he had outside the booth. I think almost all my 180 guests took at least one set of 4 pictures in the photo booth (many guests took more than one!), which amazed me since the vast majority of my guests were between 40-70 years old! =) The booth itself was very professional looking, but nothing too fancy or elaborate. It was great that it could be set up anywhere there was enough space, since no power was required, which allowed us to put it just outside our Reception Building. Brandon also collaborated with us via e-mail to add a custom image to the bottom of each photo strip and consistently revised and edited his designs without complaint until it was "just right." Although I could go on and on, one last thing I want to mention is that Brandon was incredibly flexible with his timing and even stayed open long after our 4 hour time-frame was up, even offering to let us take a "final picture" of the night before we left the Reception site (after all the guests had left). Overall, I was exceptionally pleased with the service and professionalism that Brandon delivered and would strongly recommend his services to anyone who asked... and then some!
I asked Jason to do our ceremony music for our wedding this November and it was perfect. I had three songs in mind already and asked if he could play them. He played a Jason Mraz song, Christina Perry and Cannon in D and he totally nailed them! I couldn't imagine my ceremony any other way! Everyone was so impressed and thought it was a beautiful touch. I highly recommend J-Mann Music!
We hired Indybooth for our wedding and they were great! Paul was super responsive, answered all of my questions, and was right on time on the date of the wedding. Paul and his assistant were super laid back but professional while running the booth, which is what you want at a wedding! Our guests had a great time using the booth and the props (as did I). The photo quality is awesome and I loved having so many choices in terms of the layout of the prints and the backdrop. We ended up sending Paul a logo we had made to put on the prints and used the exposed brick background of our venue. Paul sent me a sample of what the prints would look like with our logo and everything was perfect. Also, the day after the wedding Paul sent us the link for our photos and the Facebook link so we could share the photos with our guests. It was super fun to see all the pictures our guests took throughout the night. I would definitely recommended Indybooth and would use them again in a heartbeat.
I hired Excellent Party Rental for my daughter's wedding in Carlsbad. Ramiro was excellent at answering my questions, drawing up an invoice (which I revised half a dozen times!), and being very flexible with those ongoing changes, right up to two days before the wedding. He arrived right on time and had everything we needed. Unfortunately, there was a problem with the table cloths--he had used a new cleaner for his linens and they had done a terrible job. Although the linens were labeled, on hangers and covered in plastic, when we took them out, there were stains and even food on many of them. This was the morning of the wedding! I called Ramiro, and he immediately drove 40 minutes with new linens. He provided exactly what we needed to have a great event--tables of all sizes, chairs, linens, wine glasses, pilsner glasses, coffee pots and large space heaters. His operation is not a fancy one, but he seems to have access to immeasurable resources, his prices are quite a bargain, and his customer service is tops. Ramiro also came to pick up right when planned. He was a pleasure to work with! I highly recommend Excellent Party Rental. I'm sure he has worked out cleaner situation by now. That was my only complaint, and since he remedied it right away, he deserves 5 stars.

Beyond our expectations. Friendly staff and very efficient! We used them for our Winery wedding. They made us the nicest simple and sleek photo strip which fit our style. Props were fun and clean. Everyone raved about it. The best part it, the prices were reasonable. We were at the top of our budget and they worked with us to have the photobooth at our wedding! A++++ open air photo booths are where it's at!

I know that most people would be split hearing that an event would have a magician as the entertainment because of the range of talent that may show up. I can say that Derek far exceeded my expectations. Whether it was larger stage effects or close up effects, he delivered them beautifully in a way that engaged the audience and was entertaining without being "showy". This made them feel real rather than a trick. If you are lucky enough to have him at an event or book him, my favorite effect which was probably one of his least flashy but best exudes his personality and showmanship, is a close up effect that I called "the what you desire most card effect." Thank you again Derek for the wonderful show and I hope to see again in the future! James

I was so happy we hired DJ Staci to be our minister & DJ for our wedding on 10-24-2014, and to have her do both really made things easier! For someone who hasn't even been to many weddings or ever planned a big event, she was very helpful answering any questions we had. She prepared a lot in advance before the wedding making sure she new exactly what type of music we wanted and exactly what would be said during the ceremony. We absolutely loved what she came up with for our ceremony, she is a very good writer! We had a day time wedding (and it was hot!) but she got quite a lot of people dancing which was awesome! She is very organized and had some great ideas to add to the big day that we would have never thought of. She is very professional and definitely knows her stuff!
Jamaal did an amazing job at my wedding. We gave him a few preferred songs and he knew exactly what should be on the remainder of the mix list that has a wide variety and all complimentary to each song with great transitions. I would hire Jamaal for any event!!
Josh and I married September 6th at the Scripps Forum in La Jolla and Republic of Music (ROM) made our wedding day the BEST DAY EVER!!!! Since I had been planning our wedding from Washington, I didn't get to see the band live prior to our wedding. My dad and siblings went to see ROM play at Club M in Del Mar and they were blown away!! I was already impressed by the reviews and YouTube videos I had seen and read. I knew they were going to be the perfect match for our wedding day and I was totally right!! ROM is professional, fun, amazing and freakishly good at their craft! Vocals were ON POINT and the musicians brought the funk!! We opted to splurge on horns two weeks before the wedding and it was a great decision!! Our guests LOVED the band and their personalities and stage presence set the mood for the night. I cannot say enough about Tiana and how amazing she is to work with. She eased my way from the moment I spoke with her. (I had already booked another band but changed my mind once I was told about ROM) She provided me with piece of mind and made our day run so smoothly. The band did an excellent job keeping our day on schedule and emceed the entire event perfectly. It was really comforting to know that our families could enjoy the evening and not have to worry about making announcements or keeping the night on schedule. Dinner music was amazing, slower songs really allowed you hear just how amazingly talented the vocalists are. As the evening progressed Josh and I did not stop dancing all night along with our guests! My sisters and I also got to be band mates for the day and sing with the band which was pretty epic!! My dad is a man of few words, but he couldn't stop talking about the band for days!! He already said he wants to book ROM for their 40th wedding anniversary!! If you're looking for a band for your big event, stop looking!!! You have found who you are looking for!! ROM will not disappoint! I wish I could crash all the weddings they performed at so I can sing and dance the night away. That's how awesome they are! Thank you ROM for everything!!! Your forever fans, Mr. & Mrs. Calkins!
Darryn photographed our engagement session as well as our wedding and we were absolutely in love with our photos. He is wonderful to work with and so easy to get along with. He has the best sense of humor and it really made us feel comfortable And be ourselves. Since the wedding we have used him for all our kids and family pics and he continues to Provide quality work. He is very creative and goes out of his way to capture the best picture !!
