FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Please check website for updated pricing on our website and click on SERVICES. We do offer discounts with cash payments.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I ask new customers to send me pictures of the hair and makeup styles they want along with any descriptions of what they don't want. I get a feel for their style so I can help them feel as comfortable and beautiful as possible. A retainer fee is required to reserve the date and time frame for the event. For weekend weddings, a trial must be done to ensure the satisfaction of the client on her special day. For weekday City Hall weddings, trials are not mandatory.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied painting and drawing at USF and Academy of Art in SF. I then worked at over a dozen high end cosmetic companies such as Armani, Dior, YSL, Chanel and NARS doing thousands of makeovers at department stores for several years. I also worked on freelance jobs doing weddings and special events on my days off. In Los Angeles at The Makeup Designory, I studied hairstyling so I could be skilled with hair as well. I haven attended many hair and makeup workshops and conventions to further my education and keep up with the style trends.
