Tina did facepainting for my son's TNMT-themed birthday party for a full 2 hours. I was impressed by her promptness to come on short notice. As well, her wonderful personality and ability to do a variety of subjects, made the kids' experience a memorable one.

Celia taught my little sister to draw and paint for about a year, and really helped my sister improve her skills, both on more classical forms of art (figure drawing, still life, realistic portraits) and more fun forms (cartoons, arts and crafts). Celia's technical expertise is superb and she has a pleasant demeanor, great attitude, and clear instruction style. My sister always looked forward to their lessons together! In addition to being a phenomenal teacher, I truly believe she has professional-grade art skills.

Shelley has taught my 2 kids for 3 years since they were 3 and 5 years old. She is very talented in every kind of media. This was a fantastic opportunity for them to get creative at young age. She teaches with many kinds of mediums including clay, pastels, watercolor, charcoal, face painting, acrylic, balloons, and crafts etc. and introduced new project and theme every week. My kids have fun and a great learning experience. They are looking forward to their art lesson. They never get bored to learn with Ms. Shelley every week. She is kind, nice, funny, always smiling, and understanding. My kids have one hour lesson per week. After each lesson, Shelley always told me what they had accomplished their artwork that week. Sometimes, she assigned a light homework and my kids love to show her what they did during the week. My daughter enjoys the art lessons. She got award from Santa Clara County Young Artist showcase 2013. Her artwork will be displayed permanently at Santa Clara County Office of Education. We are so pleased with Shelley's teaching ability and professionalism and we highly recommend her as an art teacher to your kids or anyone who is interested in art and would like to improve the skills.

Chelsea emits kindness, understanding, and passionate love of the arts. This makes her a fantastic guide through the creative process. Not only has she instructed me gently in my own acrylic-on-glass endeavors, but after some experience witnessing her talent, I also hired her to paint a life-size portrait of me. Through the planning, sketching, and painting phases of the project Chelsea showed her commitment to working with me to create something that would be true to both our artistic sensibilities and desires. She is timely, thoughtful, and innovative. She is a pleasure to work with.

Ross is a pleasure to have for a painting teacher. He has the ability to look at my work and see what my strengths are and what I may need to improve. His philosophy towards painting/art is extremely helpful in continuing my vision of the kind of art I wish to do. Who Ross is as a person helps me express best who I am. (Very rare in a teacher. No one would ever say he held them back or wouldn't allow their vision.)

Tasha is such a talent!! she makes the most magnificent jewelry! The two original pieces that I own of her's have gotten many complements. Tasha is a hard worker, and it shows in her jewelry. When I have ordered online from her she always takes the time to answer any questions that I have. Her products are always sent off, and received in a timely fashion. I have recommended Tasha to many others. she truly is a credit to her field, and her jewelry always resonates with spiritual loving energy. Janyce Godwin of Pueblo Colorado

Every season I make my way to one of my rental properties in the mountains of Colorado to do upgrades and repairs. This year one of my projects at the cabin was to finish the back guest room off the workshop and deck. It was my job to finish drywalling it and get it prepared for the paint job. Enter working with Amy! She came in to look at the small room and we talked colors. The room has a lovey western exposure that looks over the property with pine trees, a meadow, and some rock formations. After making some decisions about the overall color combinations, Amy seemed to "get into the zone" and thought of the idea of a 360 degree mural in the room. I loved her ideas, so she made some initial sketches and then she was off! I can't tell you how amazing the transformation of that room was. Amy took the colors and created beautiful formations, canyons, and an eternal feeling of calm in just a few days! It must also be noted that the mural didn't overwhelm the visitor, but was made with just enough depth and quality as to be a place one would want to rest in. I did have some friends over just last week and they were both struck by the beauty of the room and how well it worked in the surrounding environment. I cannot recommend Amy enough for her technique, passion, adventure, or communication skills enough! Amy really knows her craft and does all she can to work with the client to create a stunning and original piece of art. I'm already thinking of hiring Amy next summer to get her input, imagination, and talent in the greenhouse! 5 stars without hesitation! Amazing results!!! My daughter drew the dress she wanted for her senior prom. Lisa brought the dress from the sketch book to life. My daughter was so excited!! This was not an easy job. Every detail was a challenge. Lisa is really a master at her craft. She went above and beyond to make this a most memorable experience. Thank you Lisa for being great at what you do. You were a pleasure to work with and we will definitely use your services again!

I am an art/craft teacher. I've worked with almost every medium from teaching first grader how to create a daffodil portrait color wheel to forging knives in New Zealand. I have a master's degree in art education and years of classroom experience working with first-twelfth graders, but often end up showing grown-ups how to replicate crafts they see in magazines. If you have an art goal for yourself or a wee one, I can tailor a lesson to suit your needs. I am also a lesson plan mentor. If you need assistance with lesson plans, I can help you master the art of integrating content and curriculum standards.
