I am a female native speaker and professional from Milan, Italy.
I have a master's degree in Italian language and literature and 30 years of teaching experience in schools and privately.
I teach grammar, conversation ,idioms, vocabulary ,reading, writing, etc.
I love books and I like to read it and discuss it with my students, if they are up to it.
I might be a little more expensive than the average teacher, but I deserve what I'm asking for because of all my years of experience in teaching and the good results I obtained.

I took Italian lessons from Daniela for about 6 months and liked her very much as a teacher. She is patient, speaks Italian very clearly, and taught me useful everyday expressions as well as helping me with pronunciation and grammar.. She has a good sense of humor and I enjoyed our lessons.

Daniela is a wonderful teacher, especially when you have a "cluttered" mind. I really enjoyed my lessons. I wish sh was in NYC so that I could continue my lessons.

Daniela is an excellent teacher of Italian. She not only knows her subject but her approach was very helpful. She doesn't point out every single mistake because she wants to encourage you to talk (in Italian). For the really bad errors that she has to point out, she's not shy about correcting you in a nice way, but I asked her to let me first try to figure out my mistake before correcting me and she was very amenable. She's flexible and conscientious, and my italian really improved under her guidance.

I took private Italian lessons with Daniela and she is an excellent instructor. She is an expert at grammar, literature, and inspires great conversation. She is incredibly knowledgable about her native language and culture, and motivated me to study more. I highly recommend her as a teacher.

She always understood my questions, what I was "trying to get at," even when I wasn't sure what it was I was asking. She has a firm grasp of English and knows how idioms work across languages. If you do your homework, you will learn.
