Aanya is a great Tutor! She tutors our 6 year old son in both Reading and Math. She keeps him engaged during his sessions, and he looks forward to his time with her. She challenges him, and provides a nurturing, encouraging atmosphere while learning, which is a plus! Most of all, she keeps things fun! I definitely recommend her!

Alicia is a great tutor, she has helped me a lot with my essay, organized my writing structure, and corrected my grammar. She is very smart, has a lot of patience, and is a very friendly person. She will try her best to help you. So, if someone needs help with some particular subject, I strongly recommend her to be your future tutor, then you will see how worth it to have her as your tutor. I guarantee that you won't regret it.

Aanya is one of the best tutors I've met. She helped our elementary school kid with reading and writing for the last several months and my kid really liked all of her sessions. She is professional and I was really impressed with the thorough assessment with the planned target level on the very first session. I can tell she is a very knowledgeable and experienced tutor and I truly recommend her. Thanks to Aanya for helping my kid.

Math Tutoring

We waited too long to hire the tutor. It was too late to bring up the grade. The tutor said the problems my son had were really hard so I think it even stumped the tutor though he tried to help.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Most tutors charge $25/hour for 1:1 tutoring and there are never any required tutoring packages nor upfront costs. Clients pay on a per-session basis and we have a 100% satisfaction guarantee, or you get your money back. (Online sessions and in-person sessions are the same price.)

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    1. Speak over the phone to learn more about your student to make a recommendation. 2. Connect you directly with the tutor so you can talk with him/her. 3. Book a session through the Tutorfly site and enjoy! :) We personally recommend an academic tutor that doubles as a role model for your student.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Our Tutorfly Tutors are in the top 10% of their classes in high schools and universities like Stanford, UC Berkeley, Princeton, and NYU. They have ample experience working with students of all ages and have progressed through a 4 step vetting process that tests for knowledge, creativity, and empathy.
