Chef Jessica absolutely exceeded our expectations in every way. Period. Full stop. Her creativity in developing the menu was remarkable, thoughtfully incorporating all of our requests while adding her own signature touches that elevated the entire dining experience. Service throughout the evening was completely seamless, allowing us to relax and enjoy our own celebration. She demonstrated patience with the inevitable timing adjustments that come with hosting an event, adapting gracefully without missing a beat. Communication before and during the party was excellent, which gave us complete confidence in her ability to execute our vision. Her team reflected her professionalism beautifully, bringing warmth and expertise to every interaction with our guests. What truly set Chef Jessica apart was how she made it possible for us to trust her with all the details, freeing us to focus on what mattered most - spending time with our guests and actually enjoying our own party. The food itself was outstanding, with each dish showcasing both technical skill and genuine artistry. Her calm, capable presence meant we never had to worry about the kitchen or service for even a moment. Chef Jessica has been so amazing working a few times with my corporate company to service our clients. She has been timely and professional while onsite and while working together to coordinate. She puts together delicious and thoughtful menus and our clients have been raving non stop about the food and how amazing Chef Jessica has been. Couldn't reccommend more!

We have had Jessica cater three private platted dinners at our home, each event served 25-30 persons. All of the guests have enjoyed fine dining at restaurants in San Francisco and globally for many years. Our ambition was not to replicate a restaurant but to have friends to our home for cocktails and dinner where the food, wine and conversation blended into a memorable afternoon and evening. Jessica’s culinary and social skills made each of these dinners highly successful. Cocktail appetizers were splendid and garnered attention so that when the homemade bread and fresh greens launched dinner, all our guests started asking for Jessica’s contact information. We have had a variety of main courses, duck, lamb, halibut and gnocchi, among others, served alternately family style and individually. Jessica engaged with our guests and everyone enjoyed speaking to her about her history, food preparation and presentation. The food she served received rave reviews from all of our guests. Her staff has proven capable and clean-up has been excellent. We expect to have Chef Jessica remain an integral partner in our dinner party planning moving forward.

Chef Jessica Yarr is professional, a direct communicator and skilled in the kitchen. We at the Santa Cruz Community Farmers Markets have worked with her for over a decade and have always been impressed. Jessica's menus and dishes are driven by what is in season. She gets excited, even thrilled, in the imaginative process of flavor combination, texture combination and the creation of food on a plate that is visually striking or pleasing.
