I have worked with Thomas at Project13 in a group setting and in personal training sessions. Thomas is hands down the best coach I have had, despite having many trainers before him and being a college athlete. He goes beyond telling you the work out - he interacts with you in a personable way, ensures you’re using correct form, and creates work outs designed to keep you healthy and fit. From a personal training perspective, he works with you on your personal goals and programs with your specific needs in mind, including current and past injuries. Overall, I would recommend him any day and you’ll be better for working with him.

Thomas and the whole P13 gym are leaps and bounds better than any other gym you can find. The workouts are intense but not discouraging. They modify everything for you as if you’re the only one in the room. It’s akin to having a personal trainer but in an encouraging, group setting. It will challenge you, work up a sweat and make you want to give it your all. I also appreciate that they encourage proper form and injury prevention. This isn’t some kind of Olympic lift training that will ruin your body. It’s thoughtful and consistently makes you up your game. The P13 members and the overall comraderie of the gym feels like you’re on a team and everyone is rooting each other on. You can’t go wrong with P13. Worth every penny!

I've had an incredible experience at Project 13 Gyms. Historically I have been very anti-class workout structure but gave P13 a chance and I've never looked back. The coaches are extremely professional and able to cater the training to each individual. The passion and care for the community they have developed shows in every interaction. Highly recommend P13.

Signing up with Project 13 is easily one of the best decisions I have made since moving to San Francisco. Thomas and Michael are fantastic coaches, and their programming is tough in all the right ways. They cater to all fitness levels with a strong focus on personalised training in a group setting. My husband (also a P13 member) and I recently moved apartments during COVID and staying close to P13 was a huge deciding factor for us. They have also done a great job re-opening during COVID. I feel incredibly safe and am so glad I can be back in the gym. Highly, highly recommend!

We've been training at Project 13 since January 2020. The coaches are awesome and knowledgable. We trained with them throughout the lockdown and the virtual classes were good, too. Now that they've re-opened, we have no qualms about training in person at Project 13. The coaches have taken all precautions necessary - mandated capacity, air purifiers at every station, sanitizing, maintaining social distancing, etc. We feel safe training here. The coaches are quite versed in suggesting variations (both regressive and progressive) for the exercises in the program. The workouts are well-thought-out in terms of progression - both daily and globally.
