Sergey was great! I hired him to help with a few fixes in our new condo, including mounting a TV, fixing bathroom cabinet doors, installing an under-cabinet garbage pull-out and a few other small fixes. Sergey was super professional, arrived on time, and fixed everything pretty quickly! It was a pleasure and I'll definitely hire him again in the future for fixes in the use.

Jose proved himself to be skilled and hardworking. I hired him to fix a garbage disposal. We discussed the scope of the issue before arriving and the estimated cost. I felt he was reasonable. He arrived in the time frame discussed and worked productively. Jose exhibited expertise with the garbage disposal and fixed it perfectly. I also asked him to fix a leaky shower head and he did a great job with that, being considerate not to damage anything and make a mess. I would definitely hire him again.

Oscar did a fantastic job. He was flexible with scheduling, arrived on time and didn't leave until the job was completely finished. We live in an old house and one of the drains that was draining slowly was particularly hard to clear. He spent the extra time to make sure that was working correctly and then left the place perfectly clean. I'd definitely hit Oscar again for any plumbing work around the house.

Albino and his team did excellent work for a reasonable price. We especially appreciated that they could do repair work (fixing windows, refinishing a butcher block counter) as well as paint -- and all of it was high quality.

I've been wanting to convert my living room into a bedroom, but I didn't know who to hire. I asked around and a lot of contractors asked for too much money, around $1,000-$2,000 just for a door installation. I hired Slavik because he gave me the best quote. He arrived the very next day to inspect my apartment and gave me a few options. Slavik and his team installed the door in record time and they did an outstanding job making sure it fits and functions properly. I couldn't have asked for a better job, plus the cost was reasonably affordable. These guys are the best! I'll be hiring Slavik as my trusted contractor for all my future renovations.

We had * fix minor leak in the kitchen sink (problem with the way the garbage disposal was installed) * hang light fixture 8 inches to the left * fix bathroom door -- didn't close properly * tether three bookcases to the wall Damon and Daniel were courteous and professional. I appreciated Damon calling several times before the appointment to confirm. They showed up to the job 30 minute ahead of schedule. I liked the work that they did and they have certainly moved to the top of my handyman call list.

I met Renato through my realtor. He made several repairs for me in the bathroom which included drywall. Did a fantastic job painting most of the house both upstairs and down. I also asked him to do a few repairs that would have been difficult for most, but Renato took care of them easily. He is my new best friend! I would highly recommend Renato

BJ spent the day doing quite a few small jobs for me, including installing a shower door and a cat door, caulking, and various other needs. When I responded to his thumbtack offer, he stopped by the same day and gave me a very fair quote. On the day he did the work, he called to confirm and arrived on time. He is extremely personable, knowledgeable and professional, and his rates are very reasonable. I would hire BJ again without question.

Fred did a great job, squeezing three projects into one day. (A closet install, door lock change, and a kitchen faucet install). Managed to troubleshoot some slightly unusual situations with creative solutions. There was a glitch in the faucet install, and Fred returned promptly to repair at no charge (even though it was likely due to the age of plumbing and not anything he missed).

This is a company, not an independent plumber. I wish there was a way to distinguish between the two. One of the company's schedulers told me the wrong time on the phone, saying someone would be out at 9am the following day, and not mentioning a 2-hour window. I had rearranged my work schedule to be there for the appointment. I called at about 9:15 to see where they were, at which point they told me that the plumber would be there between 10:00-12:00. Luckily, they were able to send a different plumber out, so it ended up being about 1.5 hours later than I had planned. I think maybe the plumber they sent was a bit new; when doing the estimate to replace a broken tub faucet, he had to call someone else to come over. When they give you an estimate, they are supposed to stick to that price, even if they end up spending more time. The guy ended up spending probably a LOT more time than he'd planned, because the two recommended we replace the entire shower set, not just the faucet. But they did not give me a new or different estimate for that work (their mistake!). When we got the bill at the end of the day, it was more than double the estimate. We ended up compromising, because even though it was his mistake in estimating, he did spend the whole day, and was very nice. The plumber did a good job with the actual repair, and left the place clean when he left. Three stars on the scheduling and estimating, five on the work itself; average of four. I would hire this company again.

Jeff remodeled our bathroom. Tore out the existing vanity, mirror and flooring, spackled and textured the walls, repainted, installed vanity, vanity lights, tub/shower faucets, new shower door and installed hard wood flooring. He was thorough, dedicated and an exceptionally good value. You will be hard pressed to find better workmanship and a greater value elsewhere. I will be using Jeff again for any additional home repairs.

I didn't actually hire Max because our project changed and I didn't need him anymore so I can't talk about work quality. However, I wanted to comment on his quoting process. I had several contractors come out to make their bids and I felt that Max did an excellent job of not only listening but actually hearing what I was asking for and providing his professional suggestions (without trying to bid up the project). He provided his estimate which was exactly what we had talked about and his pricing was lower than the competition. I would contact Max again to bid for projects in the future.

We had a leak from our stall shower into the garage. Several contractors gave us quotes for work that seemed unreasonable. Troy Coleman was the last on our list of contractors who had replied to us with a quote. Just when I beginning to loose hope, I decided to called him and I am so glad I did, Troy- the plumber (not Troy Coleman the owner) showed up at our house. He was very courteous, willing to explain what needed to get done and fixed the problem. We were so impressed that we even hired him to change a toilet. Troy the plumber even came to Home Depot with my wife and I to pick a toilet for us. I think we found our new plumber, one that knows what he is talking about and one that treats his customers like his own.

Justin is an incredibly nice guy who takes great pride in his work. All of the work he and his tile guy, Jonny, did passed inspections on the first try and they were both very accommodating to our schedule. We would highly recommend Justin and South Bay Builders for any home renovation or repair jobs.

Great job on replacing our railing and balusters. Old railing was an unstable metal structure with too big of gaps between the balusters, Victor installed solid wood posts and wrought iron balusters to the design we wanted. He did good work, final result looks just like we wanted, and did a good job fixing all holes/scratches from old railing and installation process. The reasons why I'm taking off one star are that work took longer than previously planned, so final cost was higher than expected (by 15%). He did put in a couple of hours on top of the final charge, so I appreciated that to offset the delays. The work was overall pretty clean, though on the second layer of wood stain (on the rail and posts) there was a good sized stain left on the carpet that I'm not sure anything will really take out without damage to the carpet. Overall, reliable and quality work, will use his services again for other house repairs/renovations.

WOW! Joe responded within minutes. After using his contractors license to save us money on the necessary material, he installed the ceiling fan, front door and a new dishwasher. Everything was done perfectly. I would also like to add Joe was able to beat the prices quoted to us by the other handyman that responded and he is fully licensed and bonded which gave us a sense of security in case there was a problem.

The knob for hot water is increasingly getting loose and turns without gripping on the stem behind it. It requires a screwdriver to re-tighten the screw in the knob every time to completely stop the flow of water. There is still a minor leak at spout. There is a covered hole in the escutcheon masking the hot water shutoff valve, but the cover seems stuck.
