Introduction: I teach electric violin in the sense that I teach how to get the best sound using electronic equipment and I teach a wide range of modern electrified music techniques, genres and styles. I teach techniques that were invented for electric guitar and I teach basic classical "acoustic" violin technique. I teach improvisation, stage presence, how to play by ear, how to read an rhythm guitarist's fingering, how to grab and hold the audience's attention with an amazing solo. Above all, I teach how to have fun and sound great playing this challenging instrument. I first need to listen to you and find out where you are musically, so I can tailor a lesson plan that meets your needs. The only equipment you need is a violin.
