Introduction: Pure Aqua is full-service aquarium, koi ponds, fountains, pools & spas company based in San Francisco, CA. With over 20 years of experience, we design, create and maintain biological systems in homes, businesses and learning environments. We specialize in the custom design and installation. We provide services throughout the Bay Area, including Emergency Service. As a teen, Tony kept all sorts of fish reef and freshwater, created his own systems, and worked at a fish store in Foster City. Learning everything he can, eventually this obsession blossomed into a maintenance and servicing company. In 1997, this dream came true. Pure Aqua was born. We expanded the business from aquarium maintenance and began providing all the services we now offer for ponds, fountains, hot tub & spas all under one roof.

Tony did an amazing job cleaning our pond! He also installed new pump and filter and made it all work. Job is done very proper, accurate and precise! Pond looks amazing!Tony gave great tips and instructions on pond maintenance. Would definitely hire again! Very happy with service provided!!!

I inherited a fish pond setup initially by an amateur. It was becoming problematic and difficult to keep filters clean. First contact Tony was right on time and explained some options. He came another time and helped make a bypass when the filtering system was leaking water until such time as he put in a new filter and pump. He replaced those and put a new cover screen on it. He also cleaned up the waterfall area really well. I would highly recommend him.

At first I did not think they would show up considering the distance to where I live, but not only did Pure Aqua show up but was on time. Tony came in and checked out my pond and seemed very knowledgeable and got me going in the rite direction. I would definitely call Pure Aqua again if I have any more issues with my pond.

Tony from Pure Aqua did excellent work cleaning out my pond which had a lot of clogged roots around the pump area. He cleaned out the waterfall receptacle and filter of all the sludge built up over the years and got my pond and waterfall going nicely again. I was impressed by his efficiency and promptness in answering the phone, and showing up to give me an estimate and then getting the job done. I am planning to use him on an on-going basis for regular maintenance work.
