- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Understanding you, your lifestyle and goals is essential. My process will revolve around making this experience of improving your surroundings less stressful.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was raised by a professional garden designer, so my understanding and love of outdoor spaces started at a very young age. I have owned up to 4 properties at once, currently I have 3. One is a 100+ year old Craftsman Victorian which I purchased 25 years ago when it was condemned by the City of San Jose. Today that house is a Bed and Breakfast (existing photo from Airbnb) totally and lovingly restored. My second property is a "Typical Ranch". I have demo'd the kitchen and both baths, refinished all the hardwood floors and installed a pool in the back yard (this involved removing 7 mature trees). I love the creative process and seeing even the smallest of final details come to life.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Out of necessity raising 2 boys in a run down Victorian. I have assembled a team of craftsmen I can count on who also love what they do. In 25 years; I have a pool of plumbers, carpenters, electricians and garden professionals I trust.
