We just had our driveway re-done with pavers from Black Diamond. It was not an easy project. 40 years of old asphalt, layered 6 deep, steep and narrow driveway, trees on all sides and in need of drainage to absorb an entire cul de sac’s rainfall. After interviewing a half dozen driveway specialists, we were referred to Michael Martinez, designer/consultant/project manager at Black Diamond. From the first meeting, we hit it off. He was easy to talk to, friendly, helpful, gave thoughtful consideration to all our driveway’s problems. Michael explained how the process would work and how to best achieve our goals while making our driveway look beautiful as well as functional. We felt very comfortable with their knowledge and expertise regarding drainage, foundation protection for our home, as well as building a small retaining wall with a French drain to withstand winter’s rains. When I said, “I’m not sure how to light this..” Michael devised a lighting system with automatic timers that are both gorgeous and effective for sight at night. Michael, and his crew lead by Irving, worked around our schedule and our neighbors’ to accommodate everyone during the demolition and construction. The entire team was kind, thoughtful and considerate during the renovation; our kids loved seeing them every morning. The other benefit was the price; we worked together to get a fair price that both sides felt good about and I understood what we were paying for. They were without question above and beyond the competitors we interviewed. If we could give 10 stars, we would. The next landscaping project we have, we will call Michael without question.

We couldn't be more pleased with the work Black Diamond Pavers, led by Michael Martinez as designer/consultant/ project manager, completed on our front walkway and side yard. He and his crew, led by Irving, were very thorough and professional. They transformed our cracked brick walkway into a beautiful path to our doorway as well as created a usable space where an old playset was once located. If you're looking for a paver company, these are the guys to contact!

We just recently finished a back yard paving & landscaping project with Black Diamond. I initially got quotes from 3 companies, though other companies quoted little lesser than Black Diamond Landscape, I had decided to go with Black Diamond based on company reviews, and mainly the way how Michael Martinez (project manager) discussed on project, how he came up with the nice design by considering all our thoughts/suggestions on landscape. I am very happy with my decision on going with Black Diamond though there was some delay in finishing the project than I initially thought, but the outcome of the project is top notch and over all experience was awesome! A big thanks to Michael Martinez (the designer/consultant/project manager), and his crew led by Irving, and office assistant Alejandra.
