Hello, I am Erica. I am a home baker helping to support my family.
I have been baking since I was about 10, but recently fell in love with the art of creating flavors and combinations that nobody thinks about.
I started my home business, Duckyyys Delights, when I was laid off after giving birth to my sweet daughter when Covid-19 hit. I create items such as gourmet "stuffed" cupcakes, basic cupcakes and cakes. I like to bring flavors to life with my baking. I recently ordered a cake and a dozen cupcakes for my baby’s cake smash, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! Erica went above and beyond to make a sugar-free cake that was incredibly delicious. The design of the cake was exactly what we had imagined – it was perfect in every detail. Erica did a phenomenal job with our cake. The flavors were on point as well as colors requested. The semi naked cake was awesome to look at as we’ll eat. She added touch’s of fresh fly we had on hand to dress up the display. Highly recommend her for any event and if in the area again I would plan with her again

I ordered a Nike themed cake for my son’s first birthday and Erica made my vision come to life! Everyone enjoyed the cake and said it was so good! From the moment I inquired on the order up until the day of delivery, Erica is quick to respond, very detailed, easy to work with and very professional. However, I do offer some discounts on larger orders.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My process for working with a new customer is the following:
- Figure out what type of dessert(s) you are looking for
- What theme do you want the dessert(s) (if any)
- What flavor(s) profiles are you looking for
- How many servings are you looking for
- Where delivery would be to
From there, I create a quote and tell you the deposit needed to book the order. Once deposit is received, I change the status of order to "Job Confirmed"
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
No professional training. I have learned the basics through family and took it to a whole new level on my own..
