FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The cost of video editing is based on the full scope of the project, the timeline and what you want me to deliver. I have a standard hourly rate but, I'm usually fine working for a flat rate. I'm also open to negotiating a price that fits the client and their project.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I generally have a pre-production meeting or phone call to assess exactly what the client is attempting to accomplish with their project. What are they trying to accomplish, what tone are they aiming for...is it funny, serious...is there another video you'd like to emulate. After the initial meeting most clients leave me to develop, edit and deliver their video with as little stress as possible.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attended film school and then produced television programming for 12 years before going freelance. I've worked as a shooter and editor for 10 years now and I work with Adobe Suite including Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Audition and Illustrator. I also have extensive experience with Final Cut Pro and a bit of experience with DaVinci, mostly for color grading.
