Vivek S. says, "My Acura RDX needed a timing belt and water pump replacement. The Acura dealership quoted me an astronomical $2750 for this, which was way out of my budget. I have used Thumbtack to find service providers in the past, so I looked up Auto Mechanics and AGYZ Performance showed up in the top results. I reached out to the owner, Agustin, and he gave me a very reasonable estimate of $700 if I could provide all the parts and materials. He is based in Gilroy and even offered to do the service for $550 if I could come to his place, which is what I did. Agustin completed the service in a timely manner and also returned the old parts. He even told me about a tool that the dealership service guys had left inside the engine area when they did the brake pads replacement recently. Overall I am very happy with my decision to go with an independent auto mechanic rather than get fleeced by the dealership. Agustin is an excellent mechanic, who is very professional, courteous and punctual. I will reach out to him for all future car service needs. Highly recommended!"See more
