We hired Taneva Events for our wedding on July 29th, 2017. After a long search for a florist, I came across Velina. After our first contact, which was very pleasant and friendly, I knew that I was going to hire Velina for our wedding. She listened to what I had in mind for my flowers and was able to provide me with some great recommendations on how to make that happen. Velina is very sweet, very responsive and professional. She provided her answers and assistance to all of the questions and concerns I had. The day of the wedding, I got more then what I hoped for. My flowers were so beautiful! Velina did an AMAZING work. She delivered not only what I asked for, but even more! We got so many complements on our flowers, from centerpieces to corsages. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend to hire Taneva Events if you are looking for a florist for your next event.

I was extremely lucky to have found Mariane and hired her as my florist. The experience was as good as it could get from beginning to end. She is very responsive, her quality of work is amazing, and she brings so much value at a good price! Our first meeting, she spent over two hours with me, figuring out what I like and telling me her story. I felt her passion right the way and signed the contract shortly after. I was pleasantly surprised to find out how reasonable her price is. It was a relief compared to other quotes I got. We made a few adjustments prior to my wedding and she was flexible and accommodative. I was initially worried because what I wanted is a bit different from her existing portfolio. But on wedding date, she delivered exactly what I wanted with really good quality flower and beautiful design that fitted my vision. I was so so so happy how things turned out.

After reading reviews for Mariane I already knew I wanted to hire her as my wedding florist. She reached out right away (2/14/2018/) and was so prompt in her response time as well as giving amazing suggestions on flowers that would be perfect for my wedding. I do try to find the good in all people but toward the end of this interaction it broke my heart to think that there are still people in the world who are not accepting. After my interaction with Mariane I let her know I was ready to sign the contract and give my deposit to lock in my date. She asked for my full name and my fiance's full name. Once I responded "Aneka and Monique....silence. My next response (2/27/2018) I asked for the contract and was hopeful it would be sent. I called the phone # provided as well as the # on the website. When I called a woman answered very quietly and I asked if Mariane was available and she said "this is Mariane" I said "Hello Mariane this is Aneka and we had a correspondence through thumbtack" ( i gave details about my wedding and about our conversation. Instantly the woman said "Oh Mariane had an emergency I will let her know you called" then hung up. This was very disheartening to know that I was lied to and then hung up on. 3/2, 3/4, 3/9 I responded again asking about the contract...still nothing. I decided to log onto thumbtack to see if there was any hope that Mariane was online on 3/12, I saw she was online and sent a message asking her to contact me and that I would still like to work with her. She was instantly offline within minutes of me sending my message. I set up a phone call as well for 3/16 and did not receive any calls. Planning a wedding is tough but to know that someone is ignoring you when you did absolutely nothing wrong, makes me think this could be discrimination against me and my fiance.
