Introduction
Hello I’m Mimi! I am a NASM certified personal fitness trainer, nutrition coach, and corrective exercise specialist. I’ve been in the health & fitness industry since 2004. I am a “fitness for the rest of us” kind of trainer. Let’s train in ways that mimic everyday movement so you can stay active for life! Our bodies change as we age, which means we need to change the way we care for them in order to be healthy. It’s not just about strength, but flexibility, coordination, balance, and mobility too – that is truly the bigger picture! I strongly believe fitness and nutrition go hand in hand. It’s difficult to achieve optimal wellness with only one part of the equation. This becomes even more important in the second half of life. I am a master at making time for simple allergen-friendly delicious meals and workouts inside a busy schedule. I would love to be your partner in your journey to better health!

Mimi helped me find a new path. As a lifelong athlete, I was in a rut, sticking to the workouts I was comfortable with and dealing with a body that was no longer responding. Mimi introduced me to new ways to challenge and care for myself. She is incredibly knowledgeable, from nutrition to strength training, I was always impressed by the context she provided for our work together. Mimi listened to my needs (including a few injuries), adapted workouts and met me where my body was at. In six months I have gained confidence in my abilities in the gym, and have new goals for myself. I am very grateful for this experience with her. I cannot recommend her enough. She is also very fun 🤩

I signed up for the three month training contract with Mimi and within those three months I have learned more than I could have on my own. Her enthusiasm and patience from day 1 has been consistent until the last day of my contract. She always comes prepared to our sessions, provides constructive feedback, ensures my form is good (what I was looking for), and encourages me to push past my limit in the most respectable and encouraging way possible. I looked forward to our sessions every week and I always leave the gym feeling great! She also provides samples every other week which never makes it home (I eat it all while driving back home). I believe I made the right decision to work with Mimi as she helped me gain the confidence and knowledge to head on to the gym alone! Thank you Mimi!

Hello! Mimi deeply cares about well -being, beyond muscle toning. She has great insight about mental weel-being, nutrition, sleep, and great wisdom about life in general. She trains me with a plan in mind, tailored to my own needs. The proposed exercises vary every session and are part of the final plan. I see great results in muscle tone and energy levels. I am also always looking forward to my sessions because she makes it fun! I absolutely recommend Mimi for personal training!
