I seldom write reviews so here's a worthy one. I have been taking tennis lessons with Sam for almost a year. Sam is nice, approachable and patient. I am very happy with the quality of instructions and the way he teaches. Sam challenges me to be a better player and makes it fun at the same time. I would definitely recommend him for both beginner and intermediate tennis players.

Learning to standup paddle is one of the most exhilarating and gratifying experiences you will ever enjoy. It is also one of the fastest ways to get your mind, especially your body, in great shape. SUP provides a core workout that burns calories quickly while building strength, balance and endurance. There is nothing else like it! Despite what you may see in the media, you do not have to be young, wearing a bikini, or already an athlete to become a great standup paddler. In fact, this is a sport that has grown in leaps and bounds, mostly because of the participation of people over 40. I've been teaching people of all ages, all sizes and all levels of physical condition (women, men and children) this relatively new sport for the last seven years. I have a quiver of very stable boards that can handle a person of any size or weight, from a 25-pound toddler to a person well over 300 pounds. I use lightweight paddles to minimize hand fatigue. My specialty is helping everyone get onboard, and my goal is to get you safely up on your feet. Those who are fearful or finally getting outside after years without exercise will not be shamed or humiliated. Adults with physical difficulties, prior injuries and / or children with developmental disabilities are welcome and will be accommodated safely. Most beginning students are surprised that with my patient instruction, they are able to stand up on the board in the water on their very first time out. I am a former lifeguard and a grandmother in my late fifties; living proof that almost everyone can learn to SUP and do it well. My oldest student is 84, my youngest is two. Besides teaching standup paddling, I write about SUP in Standup Journal magazine and online. Get in better shape, enjoy nature, release stress and feel like a kid again.
