- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I study the latest resume and business writing trends, taking the best and leaving the rest. But I don't chase trends - I stay grounded in language tactics that always work.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
People started coming to me for suggestions on their resumes, and the results were great! They all landed interviews and got positions they wanted. Word spread around and soon I had a lot of new clients. Then, one of my clients asked me if I knew anyone who did Spanish/English translation. I wound up meeting a commodities trader who needed several Spanish documents translated into English for deals he was making. I had the docs back to him the same day and landed a great client!
- What types of customers have you worked with?
My translation clients include those seeking translations for important documents and investor relations packages. Most of my resume clients are executives, professionals and technical pros looking for top-notch resumes that get them the job or to the next level.
