Be sure to find a coordinator that you connect with. Don't just look at the price, look for someone who shares your vision and seems genuinely excited about your event and the ideas you are bringing to the table. It is very easy to find a person to produce an event, it is very difficult to find a person who will make your vision a reality. Be picky and ask a lot of questions at your consultations, just because you are not the professional doesn't mean you don't know what you want.
