Pit Stop Dog Walking and Care is a top notch pet service. I couldn't be more pleased with them. They treat my dog with love and respect. I'm so happy I found them.

I first met Lindsey when she was emceeing a huge fundraiser in Sonoma County. The was on stage with her therapy dog, talking about how dog training is a good way to learn how to manage people, and before anyone knew it, she had the CEO of a major corporation on stage, and was putting peanut butter on his cheek. Then, her dog, licked it off on command. It was hysterical. I think the point is that she's talented in all sorts of areas but she has a special bond with dogs. A friend of a friend knew her, and she wound up training all three of our dogs. Lindsey would say that she trained us! I guess the only complaint I have is that she will only take on very few dogs. She has another career, but she works with dogs and people because it is her passion, and now that she has kids, she's become very aware of how many kids are bitten every year by dogs. If you can get her, you'll love her.

Stephanie was VERY thorough in her analysis of my dogs. She is VERY gentle, patient, kind and I am overly happy with the results of her training sessions so far. She has only seen my 4 dogs twice, but already I have seen changes in them on the things she/I are working on. I would HIGHLY recommend Stephanie. Just my two cents =)

My dog Dixie is a little challenge. Within a week my dog went from lunging at food when dropped, to completely ignoring dropped food. Also to leaving me alone while I am eating. While we are still working through some thing with Jessica, the improvements I have seen are amazing. Dixie loves seeing Jessica and looks forward to our training sessions. She has improved the relationship between Dixie and I and we look forward to continuing our training.

I received a referral for Tara from one of my pet activist friends. I am particular about who I let care for my dogs and she did a fantastic job caring for and grooming my dog Guinness. My husband and I call Tara the dog whisperer. She has a calm demeanor that my dogs sense and respond to.

T'was my lucky day indeed the day I found Lois Hampton. We arranged a meet and greet meeting and I, as well as my little dog, GraciBel, were immediately comfortable with Lois and her husband George, GraciBel had been abused and was leery of any other human being, especially men. GB was immediately comfortable with both Lois and George. Lois does indeed go above and beyond the call in many ways, One of the wonderful things she always does is to keep you updated of what is going on with your pet while in her care. She is kind, and loving, and so caring. During your pet's visit, she takes the time to send emails to let you know how your pet is adjusting and, in addition, sends photographs. On our second visit, she sent me a photograph of GraciBel, sitting atop the sofa, wrapped around George's neck. I immediately knew this is a kind and gentle man as GraciBel would not get near a man at this stage of our rescue. From that time, when I pulled up to their home to drop her off for a visit, she would wag her tail, jump out of the car, and run up to the door. What a wonderful feeling! Lois and her husband, George, are wonderful people. The quality of their caring for your pet is beyond description. I am totally and completely at ease and comfortable when little GraciBel is in their care. I can think of nothing that would improve our experinece with these lovely people. In addition they are so accommodating. If a schedule changes, there is never a problem. They accommodate you in every way. In summary, my limited vocabulary does ot allow me to adequately describe these two wonderful people - Lois and George Hamptom - and what they have added to GraciBel's life and the caring and love and help they have given to her and to me in GB's transition from an abused little dog to a lovable little girl.. And for that I shall always be grateful. They are the best of the best! T'was indeed my lucky day when I met them and to now have them in our lives.

      About

My name is Kayla and I am an active duty Navy Corpsman I am here to service you and your families by helping take care of your pups! Fun fact I move around a lot so I never am able to have my own pup, so I decided to take up playing with other people's dogs to get my dog fix. Take peace in knowing your pup will not be crated hardly at all unless I have to leave the house for church! So that's sort of unique compared to many of the sitters on this site. I have experience with handeling animals with separation anxiety and really go above and beyond to make sure they are treated with the utmost respect and care. Your pup is going to be completely spoiled! A typical day at my house would be me waking up at 6 and taking your pup for a walk, breakfast, and play. I would take your pup another walk around lunch time, and is given lots of treats and love! After work, I take out your pup again and go to the doggie park here on base! Exercise is good for them and me! It gets my cardio in for the day, not to mention it also relieves tension and anxiety for anxious pups! You will get constant photo updates through out your pups stay and I will message you when we take your pup out of the home so you're aware your pup is on a walk! Also I have a big back yard your pups can run around in so they don't feel so enclosed. I am also in contact with person who is going to school for animal behavior and exotic animal training and has been helping me learn on the side helpful positive reenforcement techniques to better handle different types of dogs and techiniques to identify when animals are in distress etc. I hope you choose me to watch your pup! You seriously won't regret it! And when I comes to house cleaning I have you covered! All I do is clean it seems like in the military, and I'd like to get paid a little more to do what I already now. Please sit back and relax because your life line has you covered! 😊

Hi, my name is Linda. I am an animal lover and have had pets my entire life. I am a warm and dependable person and would like to offer you pet sitting and pet care services for your animals in my home or visiting your home. I was raised on a ranch in Wyoming, and I have been surrounded by animals my entire life and have been a dog, cat, and bird owner. When I lived in Alaska, I owned a 22-dog dog-sledding team. I am used to caring for a lot of dogs and would be happy to help with or walk your dogs out of your home. I have worked in the healthcare industry for years, so I am comfortable giving medications to special-needs animals. I live in Ventura, but I have pet sitting clients all over Ventura County and can help out in various locations. I am a dog lover and have had dogs my entire life. I have a background in healthcare and have had pets that need daily medication, so I am comfortable with special-needs animals. I am also a very enthusiastic dog walker! I am a reliable mom and a previous pet owner myself (not a teenager!), and when I say I will do something, it gets done. I have a great deal of flexibility in my schedule to suit your needs. I am also available for people who need vacation care or those who have to be out of town for any reason on a daily or a weekly basis. I have clients for whom I also take in newspapers and mail and water plants while they are out of town. I look forward to meeting you and your pets! Linda

      About

We have an extremely happy local client base. Both the parents AND their dogs love coming to our home to stay. How do we know they're happy? Just bring your dog back in a couple of days and see how he reacts to pulling up in front of the establishment. Or have your sitter come out to see how he reacts to your sitter. There's never any doubt as to whether your dog is happy to be someplace or not. Dogs who stay with us are so happy to be with us, they've pulled leashes out of their parents hands to hurry and get into our backyard; or practically jump out of the window to hurry up and see us. That is why the parents of dogs who stay with us are extremely happy! Plus they know the dogs will be safe, since they're never outside in the yard unless we're with them.
