FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Initially I like to speak with a potential client on the phone so I can ask specific questions regarding the design or staging job, and get a feel for what the client is really looking for. Afterwards an in-person consultation is scheduled which allows me to see the space that needs help and offer suggestions for improvements, as well as create a customized design plan based on the client's requests and budget.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Bachelors degree in Arts from the University of Washington. Strong retail background which included styling on the job. Operated my own Wedding Coordinating business for several years. Have decorated a number of different homes of various sizes and styles. Have had a lifelong interest in the decorative arts.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was influenced by a grandmother who had great taste and style! As a young adult, living on my own, I always wanted my home (no matter how small!) to be welcoming and comfortable, as well as stylish. Friends and family often asked for my advice and help with their decorating dilemmas, and that eventually led me to start my own business.
