Shayna is an amazing athlete / personal trainer. I hired her 3 months ago on thumbtack and have been working with her 2-3 days a week since then. As someone that works better with direct feedback, Shayna has greatly helped me improve my form, my gains and overall approach to fitness. I have worked with Shayna as my personal trainer for over a year now and I love her! She works super hard to fit the training sessions into your schedule and she is also very flexible if you need to make any changes. As far as her actual training style she is harsh enough to keep you accountable and not give up when a certain expensive might be hard but not so harsh to the point you feel judged or down on yourself if you really can not complete it. She will give you meals plans if you ask her and she will event text you throughout your week to check up on you. Overall Shayna is an awesome trainer and I feel like she has even become a friend which is a nice bonus because I have fun everytime I train with her. A friend that yells at you to get lower to the ground on your squats... haha.

I have taken personal training classes as well as boot camp style classes (intense cardio and strength workouts) regularly for about 2 years with Shayna! I have thoroughly enjoyed her classes as she will push you to your limit, help you to improve while still giving encouragement, and she is easy to talk to about almost any subject, especially fitness, while keeping the classes fun and lively. I highly recommend taking classes with Shayna. I have seen vast improvements in terms of my strength, endurance, and confidence ever since starting classes with her.

Hi, I am a 24 year old female who started personal training with Shayna about 2 years ago. At that time, I had been going to the gym on a consistent basis, but I hit a plateau and needed something else to aid my workouts to help me reach my goals. So, I decided to start personal training with Shayna. I really liked Shayna’s training style because she would teach me the correct form of an exercise, and we would not move on until my form was correct. I also really enjoyed Shayna’s personal training because she would prepare a meal plan for me to follow, and throughout the week she would contact me to check if I was staying consistent with the meal plan. After about a year of training with her I got great results and was not only able to loose over 30lbs, I gained muscle, and felt very healthy. Overall, Shayna cares for her clients very deeply and wants each individual client to succeed. I am so happy that I was able to meet not only a personal trainer, but also a great friend. I would definitely recommend her services to anyone looking to meet their fitness goals and that are motivated to see results!

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    I begin with a body fat test, measurements, and review the clients goal, in order to plan a routine based on the individual clients needs.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    I have my certification through International Sports Sciences Association. This gave me the knowledge to train for weight loss, toning, and nutrition. I also expanded my knowledge through additional training in building muscle, nutrition, and body movement.
