It does not get better than these guys. We left our dance lessons till a week before wedding but still had high ambitions ( go figure) and somehow these two pros (not just in dancing but in kindness and communication...and realism) helped us achieve our dream dance in a realistic and effortless way. As a bride to have a professional actually behave professionally and take a burden off your shoulders and not just meet but exceed your high expectations the way they did is something I will forever be grateful for.

Mark taught my husband and I our first dance for our multicultural wedding. My husband and I had no prior dance training, and are both definitely the "wallflower" type. Thinking of the first dance caused both of us a lot of anxiety. Until Mark came in and changed our whole world and whole perception of how fun dance can be. Mark was always patient, an outstanding teacher, and truly made our first dance special. Our wedding was a multi-day event with numerous ceremonies and traditions from families of two distinct cultures. But dance lessons with Mark were a welcome respite from the hectic planning of the wedding. Mark taught us more than just dancing, he taught my husband and I to establish "connection", teamwork, and trust through dance! Now, my husband and I love to dance and it has become part of our lives, all thanks to Mark. I highly recommend Mark. He is an excellent teacher and you will love every minute of your dance lessons!

One of my first teachers- made me love the sport and I still use the things I learned to this day. So many years later after taking lessons with so many people, I realize how truly professional he was and how much heart and soul he continues to put into his students. Aside from personal talent, he has abundant knowledge for the art of dance. 11/10 teacher, friend, supporter.

Working With Sam Allen was the most amazing experience. Sam gave me private Hip Hop dance lessons and was phenomenal. He was encouraging, patient, and pushed me to my highest potential. Sam was accommodating, professional, and made me feel like a super star. He teaches at your pace and to your ability. I learned so much and had so much fun at the same time. I highly recommend Sam to anyone of all ages and levels of experience. There is no better teacher out there.

Adrienne is an amazing dance instructor. Of course, she can teach you the basics, but what sets her apart is her ability to recognize your strengths and weaknesses and works with each. She clearly understands the nuance of dancing, foot work, weight shifts and timing, and how important they are to become the kind of dancer you want to be, should you want to compete professionally or just feel comfortable on any dance floor. She she has the ability to explain clearly and concisely what she wants you to do and how to get there. Just take one dance lesson with her, and you will never want anyone else to teach you. I guarantee it.

Artemi is an excellent dance teacher/coach. He takes the time to listen to his student's needs and goals. From that he bases his lesson plans. His private and group lessons are taught in segments and build on those segments so a beginner or advanced student can learn and grow. As a professional dancer, he has the knowledge and talent to work with his students on proper technique, physical strength, choreography, musicality and much more. He does this in a caring, supportive and fun way. But he also can be strict especially if preparing a student for a showcase or competition. Artemi is trained in American and International Latin and Ballroom dances. He also performs and competes proefssional with his partner pro dancer Erica Arnold. This helps him keep on top of his profession to then share with his students. I have grown as a person and dancer because of Artemi. He has helped me physically and mentally in my life. I look forward to my lessons whether it is to focus on technique, strengthen my core and/or just dance. As such, I would highly recommend Artemi Okunev.

Ally, is a great person.dancer and teacher. We meet her back in 2016 in a park class, they did a competition and won; after that she didn't return to teach at the park(sad). But my daughter wanted to keep dancing, we look for some places and try but didn't like it. So I was following Ally in Instagram and reach at her about private lessons and we are happy with her.

Jenn is amazing! We've been going to her for about a month now and both myself and my partner have come on in leaps and bounds with her help! She manages to make the lessons both interesting and fun and is an expert at pacing them to our abilities! We look forward to our lessons so much...they've quickly become one of the highlights of our week! We can't recommend Jenn and the studio highly enough and would have no problem referring her to any of our friends! Looking forward to many more lessons over the coming months! Thanks Jenn! :-)

We are focusing on dancing from the core, and opening the body with yogic principles to deepen your connection to your dance with presence fluidity and slinky theatrical moves. We will be exploring intricate mudras and choreography while activating the creative soul seat of each individual's personal transformative power. Tune-in with your inner goddess and the art of storytelling through the eyes, hips and heart. These practices offer connection to one's own essence, and cultivate enjoyment of the body in motion while sharing in a community of sisterhood. With focus on: - Inner yoga - Isolation, drills, layering - Theatrical presence and accents - Expression of story and emotion through movement Philosophy: Ritual movement art focuses on meditation, and creative self-expression, which embodies a blend of classical hatha yoga. The yogic practice enables participants to dive deeper into their dance, and gain an overall sense of peace. Intentional movement gives us a vehicle to move out of our heads and into hearts and bodies. We can then experience our authentic feelings, both our dark and light selves. This enables practitioners to attain awareness and inner stillness in motion. Aradia honors the awareness and divine nature of the lineages that have carried these teachings and practices from indigenous cultures all around the world. As a certified yoga instructor and devoted student, she actively studies several forms of yoga such as: * Temple dance * Tribal fusion belly dance * Feldenkrais method * Somatic healing * Integrated movement therapy In 2008 to present, students have enjoyed her workshops in Hawaii, Mexico, San Francisco, New York, Vashon Island, Oakland, Los Angeles, Mt. Shasta, Florida, Boulder, Seattle, Vancouver, BC, Portland and Berlin. Aradia is available for performances and to teach workshops at retreats, festivals, corporate events, healing centers and private events. Benefits of belly dance: * Cultivate your sensuality and femininity * Get a good workout and feel centered in your body * Express your unique dance in a safe & supportive environment * Strengthen the mind-body connection and creating new pathways to sensation, awareness and bliss The goddess is honored through ecstatic dance, and our communities grow stronger. As we dance, we consecrate our bodies and the land on which we dance, we unite.
