After having our home on and off the market for nearly 45 days, I decided it was time to hire a stager (the home was vacant). After talking with several staging companies, I chose DeZign Zoo (Christine Brown). Christine was extremely responsive and professional. It was also obvious that she really knows the real estate market. In addition, her quote was actually lower than others with much less experience. We were almost ready to put the home back on the market after doing some painting and Christine was able to fit us into her schedule quickly so we could get back on without delay. She and her assistant came on a Sunday morning and within hours transformed our vacant home into a beautiful space. Her use of colors and accessories was wonderful. And the best part? My husband and I recently moved into our house in Torrance, CA.. We hired Debby and her company Creative Spaces Interior Design, Inc. to help us make it a home. She got a feel for our likes and dislikes almost immediately. She has a great insight in planning and design. She valued our thoughts and ideas and closely worked with them. Dar was amazing! I highly recommend Dar. His personalized service, his ability to look at our home and customize the decor was second to none. We interviewed many "stagers" and Dar was the only person to look at the "bones" of our house and know how to present the house at its best. I have worked w/ Marie Roviello twice- The first as associates, where our firm was the architectural firm of record on a project that Roviello Design was brought in to do interiors on & the other (after) as a client. That I had previously worked along side her and later hired her to work on my own house probably says it all. Because of her architectural background, she has much more experience in many of the realities that most interiors people just don't have the knowledge to bring to the table, (materials, code, structure) Her aesthetic is fairly broad, but her strength probably leans towards a contemporary, high-end New York sophisticate. many interiors people, spend an unusual amount of energies shoveling fantasies into their clients and all the while are silently tiptoeing in the background through the project - until one grand day, they hand you a finished product wrapped in positive reinforcement. A product that often times seems disconnected from the occupants & ends up being more a "stage" than a home. "wrangling the coalition" between client, designer & the trades is where Roviello Design's real strength lies. They (R.I.) realize that the best answers come from a partnership, where the clients wants and needs are respected. and all the "realities" are metastasized into something (from what I have seen) that people love.

Ron Vigneault showed up as an angel on earth when I was ready to get my house prepared for sale in the late spring of 2014. - I would highly recommend Ron to anyone wanting to renovate or prepare a house for sale - I have never met anyone who worked as hard as Ron Vigneault. Although I originally hired Ron to freshen up my home by painting a few rooms, by the time my house went on the market, Ron had been instrumental in all aspects of transforming my house from a nice, comfortable, but slightly lived in and dull abode, to a sparkling gem that my real estate agent was proud to show and that impressed my friends and visitors. My house sold quite quickly, and it was in the middle of the summer - the quietest season for house sales in Montreal. I cannot fully express the impact of the load Ron took of my shoulders to get my house ready - here are the major components of the work he took on: Working tirelessly, Ron Helped me clear out, un-clutter, and make my home feel light, airy and spacious. Had a keen eye for and fixed little things that helped my house look well looked after. - Insisting on good quality, light coloured paint that I originally balked at, Ron meticulously painted the rooms we decided needed it - they were transformed into spaces that felt not only freshened up, but more spacious and airy. He encourage me to lean towards items that I could use later in my new place, but that would also show my house well but - while always keeping my budget in mind. - Ron also helped me create a new look by updating what was on my walls. As the art work I had no longer fit my new updated surroundings, Ron's wife Jen, who is a talented artist, custom made a gorgeous abstract painting for my living room that fit perfectly in the new environment. This added a nice artsy touch to my home, and also fits nicely in my new place. The three of us also worked together to brighten up a boring stairway by creating aninteresting wall of photos made from prints from a variety of sources we had on hand. This wall created quite a buzz. - Ron was always concerned about how much I spent when making the required renovations or purchases. To Recap: Ron was instrumental in getting my house ready for sale and he worked tirelessly the whole time. One day we worked together clearing and cleaning out my garage for 5 straight hours. When finished, it was cleaner than I when I moved in. Afterwards, he took a 1/2 hour break and then went on to some other task still full of energy.
