I am in my 2nd 6 week series of singing with Heather and 20+other Women in her Singing the World Awake Song Circle. Heather is a goddess, has a magnificent presence and attracts especially lovely women to these song circles. All of her song selections are spirited and often aligned with Mother Nature in some way. She brings chants and songs from around the world for us to sing. In our 2 hour session, we may sing 6-8 songs working out 3 part harmonies for many of them. Heather is an accomplished teacher and singer with the voice of an angel. She is able to keep arrangements simple enough that we are able to gracefully complete beautiful songs in a short amount of time. This is satisfying to all. Goddesses of all singing abilities are welcome and supported in this circle of conscious light and song.

I'm thoroughly enjoying my first time in the Women's Singing Circle. I can best describe the Circle as a 6-week series for women's a capella voices, with songs, rounds and chants taught "call-&-response" style. Heather chooses songs that are relatively easy to learn and which grow in complexity through harmonies and rounds. She inspires a friendly, welcoming, judgment-free atmosphere -- a newbie isn't a newbie for long!
In this Cirle, you'll tune in to yourself and to each other through song, as well as experience the joy of a capella women's voices. That's Heather's style: she infuses a sense of connection, both among ourselves and to the natural world, into everything she does.

I literally could not sing one single word when I met Heather. I had a true vocal phobia that had bothered me my entire life. Heather has not only taught me how to sing, but how to LOVE singing. I am forever in her debt!

I have attended Heather's song circles for the past 4 years. She teaches chants, rounds, harmonies and how to blend one's voice with the group. The experience is so uplifting. Our voices create a bowl full of healing and loving energy. Without a doubt I occupy a more balanced and positive space thanks to the song circles and Heather's expert guidance and beautiful voice.

I have been taking voice lessons from heather for over two years. When I began I wasn't sure I could sing at all. Heather has helped me immensely with expanding my range, rhythm, carrying notes, style and most importantly connecting with the music emotionally. She approaches vocal coaching with kindness but has gently pushed me to be new levels I never thought I would reach. I often get complements on my voice from friends other musicians and that makes me smile. Learning to sing has been one of the most freeing experience of my life and I am so grateful to Heather for all her expertise and encouragement.
